- The infrastructure and faculty was outstanding. Our College Infrastructure is among the top rated infrastructure in whole state. And Faculty was too good also
Dislikes
- There was no playground for different outdoor games that was one of the negative factor
Course Curriculum Overview:
I prefer that course because i was keen intrested in that very course and our college has outstanding results in that respective course. From last 4 to 5 batches the result was at the top in the state related to tha course

- I like the college ground it is good enough to play cricket and other games
- College environment is good there is plantation all around in campus which is a good environment
- College location is far from the main city Jammu.
Dislikes
- I don't like college building and campus
- Hostel is outside college which is not good for the students.
- Strength is too low these years , admissions in college ilare decreasing year after year
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course I preferred is BE (civil).
But I was very disappointed because the syllabus is very outdated and is of no use in this modern world.
Where everything can be done with softwares and still they are focussed on calculations.

Placement Experience:
From the Seventh to Eighth Semester Students are eligible for campus placements.
Various companies from outside Jammu and Kashmir have visited.
Various offers are made by companies
My plans are for further studies.

Placement Experience:
There are placements for final year college students. The average package goes around 2 LPA - 4 LPA, depends upon the performance of the student. The minimum percentage in semesters for getting placements is 60%.

Overall it's good. Reachable. Staff is nice. Academics are good. Students have a nice environment.

The college follows unnecessary strictness which is the main reason for the discontent among the students.

Remarks:
Good college but management is not so good and if you want to join you should definitely. Applied Sciences department is scrict to some extent but as soon as you go in the core branch you will not feel so strictness

The best thing about Yogananda college of engineering and technology is the environment of the college, lush green eco-friendly campus with no noise in there. Such a peaceful place with great students & seniors

Our college is good in overall. Sometimes our college is so strict that we aren't able to get to the canteen for some food which makes a negative impact on students.
Also they fine the students for shortage purposes and various other things
