Ashtamgam Ayurveda Chikitsalayam & Vidyapeetham (AACV) is an institute of a class of its own established under the aegis of Ashtanga Educational Trust (AET) in the year 2011 which is dedicated for the cause of reviving the legacy of a great tradition of Ayurveda. It started its functioning as an OP consultation unit with a small treatment facility in the year 2013 and at present, it has one of the best Ayurvedic teaching hospitals in the state of Kerala, Ashtamgam Ayurveda Chikitsalayam, which is attached to a residential ayurvedic school, Ashtamgam Ayurveda Vidyapeetham.
AACV is established with the motto of reviving the legacy of a great tradition and is dedicated to working hard for achieving its target. Envisaged to evolve as a model center of ayurvedic education in the country, it has taken care of each and every step in its development from the square one; and has the best-in-class infrastructure and manpower in all sections of its functioning. Admissions to the course are granted as per government rules on the basis of NEET/KEEM entrance exam results
