BITSoM Courses and Fees

BITSoM Mumbai offers a two-year residential MBA and three short certificate courses for working professionals. The MBA is the only degree programme currently on offer, positioned as a premium business education with BITS Pilani brand backing.

The MBA fee of INR 28,55,000 is an all-inclusive figure. The breakdown is tuition (INR 23,85,000) plus a one-time admission fee (INR 1,50,000) plus on-campus accommodation for two years (INR 3,00,000) plus a refundable security deposit (INR 20,000). There is no separate hostel bill. Most comparable private B-schools charge hostel fees separately, which can add INR 2 to 4 Lakhs to the total outlay - making BITSoM’s bundled fee a meaningful point of comparison.

BITSoM Admission Process

BITSoM MBA admission follows a two-stage holistic process. Candidates are not shortlisted on test score alone - the profile evaluation covers essays, academic record, co-curricular achievements, and work experience. There is no centralised counselling route and no management quota.

MBA Admission

• Eligibility: Any bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution. Final-year graduation students may also apply. No minimum graduation percentage is officially specified - BITSoM evaluates the full academic record holistically.
• Step 1 - Application: Submit test score (CAT/GMAT/GRE), undergraduate transcripts, two mandatory essays, resume, and co-curricular profile through the BITSoM admissions portal. Pay the application fee of INR 2,500.
• Step 2 - Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates attend a Personal Interview evaluating communication, problem-solving, and leadership potential.
• Final Merit: Admission decision combines test score, academic record, essays, work experience, and Personal Interview performance.

The 2026-28 batch had a median CAT percentile of 94.64 (range 80.09 to 99.41), a median GMAT of 700 (range 640 to 750), and a median GRE of 320. Candidates with strong essays and work profiles occasionally receive shortlist calls below the median percentile. Fresh graduates may apply - work experience is not mandatory but adds weightage in the evaluation.
