GLWEC Faculty

The college maintains a faculty-to-student ratio varying from 1:20 to 1:120, with a common ratio being 1:40. Each class of around 64 students is supported by two mentors, providing a mentor-to-student ratio of 1:32. The faculty primarily consists of assistant professors, with several holding doctorates, and most have completed post-graduation.

While teaching quality is mixed, many faculty members are described as knowledgeable and supportive, utilizing effective teaching methods. The curriculum includes regular tutorials, CIE exams, and semester exams, which are affiliated with Osmania University. Although internal exams are manageable, external exams are perceived as challenging. Faculty-student relationships are generally positive, with faculty being approachable and helpful.

However, some students express concerns about faculty focusing mainly on syllabus completion and the challenging nature of university-affiliated exams.
