WWI Mumbai B.A., B.Sc. and BBA Admission 2019

Whistling Woods International offers Three-year full time B.A., B.Sc. and BBA programs. The minimum eligibility criteria for taking admission in B.A., B.Sc. and BBA courses require the candidate to pass 10+2 from a recognized board. Final selection of the candidates in B.A. and B.Sc. programs are based on the scores obtained in entrance exam followed by Personal Interview conducted by the Institute. However, selection of candidates in BBA program is done on basis of General Aptitude Test and Group Discussion held at the Institute.

The admission process followed by the WWI School of Creative Arts consists of following components:

  • Component 1: General Aptitude Test (60 mins) – Weightage: 30%.

80 MCQs on four topics: General Awareness (20), English Ability (20), Media Awareness (20) & Logical Ability (20). This will be a Computer Based Test (CBT).

  • Component 2: Creative Ability Test /Studio Test (60 mins) – Weightage: 20%

This is a subjective test. The Question Set will be as per the Program applied for.

  • Component 3: Statement Of Purpose (60 mins) – Weightage: 20%

This is a subjective test, where the applicant needs to write an essay as to why he/she wishes to make a career in the chosen field – guidelines on how to write will be given.

  • Component 4: Personal Interview & Portfolio Evaluation – Weightage: 30%

Personal Interview & portfolio presentation before a panel of Faculty of the Program applied for.

  • The medium of all Test will be English. Visually challenged candidates are allowed to bring their writers with them.
  • But they have to submit a written request for the same minimum 7 days before the exam. 
  • PWD candidates will be given an additional time of 30 minutes to write the exam. 
  • Seats reserved for the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC category are 15%, 7.5% and 17% respectively.
  • Supernumerary reservation available for Persons With Disabilities (PWD), Kashmiri migrants and children of the Armed Forces Employees are 3%, 1% and 5% respectively.

WWI Mumbai Diploma, PG Diploma Admission 2019

Whistling Woods International offers One-year full time Diploma in Screenwriting, Two-year full time Advanced Diploma in Filmmaking and Acting, Two-year full time PG Diploma in Media & Communication and Media & Entertainment, One-year Online Certificate course in Filmmaking.

The minimum eligibility criteria for taking admission in Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Certificate courses require a candidate to pass 10+2 from a recognized board. Whereas, to minimum eligibility to apply for PG Diploma is 3 year Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute.

Final selection of the candidates in Diploma and Advanced Diploma programs are based on the scores obtained in General Aptitude Test, Creative Ability Test followed by Personal Interview conducted by the Institute. Whereas, candidates for PG Diploma courses are selected on basis of General Aptitude Test and Group Discussion held at the Institute. However, Selection of the candidates in Certificate course is Merit Based.

WWI Mumbai Application Process 2019

The application process for Whistling Woods International (WWI), Mumbai is online only.

  1. Candidates must visit the college website to fill the application form.
  2. Fill up the form correctly and pay the fees of INR 3000 through online payment gateway and download the acknowledgement slip.
  3. Upon receiving the application fees, college will inform the applicants to appear for the required entrance test, group discussion/ personal Interview.
  4. They have to visit the college campus on the stipulated dates and complete to the admission formalities.
  5. Failing which the admission of candidate stands cancelled and the seats may be allotted to another eligible candidate.
