About 20000 per semester. But you also need to buy some instruments and materials. Text books and other study materials are not included. Everyone spends about 50k additional to the regular fees which I think is acceptable. Hostel fees are about 9k per year.
Our college is probably the best. It is the only government hospital in Goa. Great exposure made us into better doctors. Removing 400 teeth is what makes dentistry real fun. They made sure that we were fit to face any situation in our life. Hostel life was fun as well.
Apart from the abundance of facilities which are provided at the Goa dental College and hospital, we are very lucky because the fee that is imposed on us is very low. The reason for the fee being this low is because the college is a government college. The fee is very low and constructed as per the standards of financial status of the students.
Because our college is also a hospital the course curriculum of our college is highly based on practical knowledge. The students are encouraged to undertake practicals so that they can get a clear view of the practical life of a dentist. I highly appreciate the effort of the administration of our college that teaches us the about perfect practical knowledge.
Yearly 1lakh and college fee was dependent on the year the student studying and the hostel fee also dependent on the year . Hostel fee for first years was greater when compared with just seniors, super seniors.
