BSSS Admission Dates 2026

Admissions for the 2026-27 academic session have concluded. UG and PG programmes admitted students through Barkatullah University centralised merit-based counselling and the college-level application portal. The next admission cycle for 2027-28 is expected to begin around May 2027.

BSSS Courses and Fees

BSSS offers one of the most diverse programme portfolios among degree colleges in Madhya Pradesh, spanning humanities, commerce, management, computer applications, sciences, social work, education, and physical education. Fees are among the most accessible in the Bhopal private college segment.

Short-term certificate courses in Business Analytics, Cyber Security, Graphic Designing, Journalism, Banking, Digital Marketing, and Tally are also offered, typically at fees of INR 5,000 to INR 8,000 per course. These can be pursued alongside regular degree programmes.

BSSS Admission Process

BSSS admits students to UG programmes primarily on the basis of Class 12 merit. The college is affiliated to Barkatullah University and follows BU-prescribed eligibility criteria for most programmes. Being autonomous, it maintains its own examination and evaluation system.

UG Admission (BA, BBA, B.Com, BCA, B.Sc)

A minimum of 45% in Class 12 in the relevant stream is required. For BCA and B.Sc Computer Science, 10+2 with Mathematics is preferred. Students apply through the BSSS online portal or through Barkatullah University centralised counselling.

BBA is a popular programme at BSSS, attracting strong applicant volumes given the combination of NAAC A+ recognition and affordable fees. BCA with AI and Machine Learning specialisation is a newer offering with growing demand.

B.Ed Admission

B.Ed admission is through the MP B.Ed Combined Entrance Test (CET). Candidates need a graduation degree with at least 50% marks. Seats are filled through the MP Online counselling process for B.Ed on the basis of entrance test rank.

PG Admission (MA, M.Com, M.Sc, MSW)

Postgraduate programmes admit students on the basis of performance in the relevant UG degree. A minimum of 45% to 50% in graduation is required. Admission to MSW is slightly more competitive given the limited seat count. Students apply through the BU PG admission portal and the college admission committee shortlists candidates.

BSSS Placements

BSSS hosts an active placement cell that facilitates on-campus recruitment for BBA, B.Com, BCA, and select BA programmes. Over 300 companies visit the campus annually. The highest recorded offer stands at INR 7.6 LPA. Undergraduate students typically receive offers in the INR 1.85 LPA to INR 3 LPA range, while postgraduate students see packages in the INR 2.5 LPA to INR 5 LPA range.

Anchor recruiters include Amazon, Concentrix, and Wipro, each hiring large student cohorts. Amazon recruited 289 students in one recruitment drive, and Concentrix has historically been one of the largest hirers at BSSS. Other confirmed campus recruiters include Infosys, Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, ICICI Prudential, Axis Bank, Larsen and Toubro, Zomato, and HSBC.

BBA and BCA graduates from BSSS are primarily absorbed into banking, insurance, IT services, and retail sectors. BA and Social Work graduates largely pursue government jobs, NGO roles, or higher education rather than formal campus placements, which explains the lower reported placement percentage for the overall graduating batch.

BSSS Scholarships

BSSS students are eligible for Madhya Pradesh state government scholarship schemes and central government schemes available through the National Scholarship Portal. Several targeted schemes support SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and minority community students.

BSSS Campus and Infrastructure

A girls hostel is available on campus with fees ranging from INR 77,000 to INR 1.32 Lakhs per year, depending on room type and meal plan. Bus transportation services are provided for day scholars. National Service Scheme (NSS) and NCC units are active at the college. The SAATH mental health support programme is a distinctive institutional initiative for student wellbeing.

BSSS leads on NAAC grade, institutional heritage, and fee affordability among the three. IPS Academy Indore benefits from its Indore location and proximity to a stronger industry base. Sage University is a newer multi-discipline university offering engineering alongside management and commerce. Aspirants focused on social sciences, humanities, or affordable degree options with strong NAAC credentials will find BSSS the most compelling of the three.
