Students get eligible after 7 th semester. Company placement begins from January. Overall college is average rated. Although there will be a lot of opportunities if we interact with teachers. Teachers are PhD level, including providing pharma forums like IPASF etc. One point where it lacking behind is sports, there's a lack of sports events in college either pharmacy cup held annually. Admission is been done by its own entrance exam named by PHARMUG. It occurs usually in May or the first week of June except for this pandemic situation. As I am from Delhi with 77.6 percent in boards so there are not so many options available in Delhi except dipsr and dipsru situated in Mehrauli. So it was ranked 4 all over India when I took admission in college. The final joining of college will starts in July. After all, counselling which held in college only.
According to the NIRF ranking the college stood 17th and according to the PCI ranking the college stood 9th in India also in the state rankings our college stood 3rd. Also the campus was located in a very nice area of the city.
Many of the top pharma companies visit the college for placements including Cipla, Sanofi, Johnson & Johnson, Docplexus, Xogene, etc.
During the final year of B.pharm companies come to College for placements. Most of the students are went for higher education than a job. Highest package 4.5 lakh per annum. The average package of 2.2 lakh per annum.
Poona College of Pharmacy is one of the best colleges in Maharashtra. This College gives the best education at less cost as this College is a semi- govt. Students get good practical skills as teachers are more experienced and motivating. The admission process of college is very easy, you just have to qualify the BVDU entrance exam for B.pharm with good merit to get admission then after the scheduled counseling where the rest of the admission process done. There are fewer placements in technical profile as compared to sales. More companies come for sale profile.
It was one of the prestigious college and nearest for my choice. The college was well known for the course I wanted to opt in. It had a good name overall. The infrastructure was good and even there was 100% placements
The placement process is easy there are companyÕs coming to the college for jobs. The placement of the students is 100%. There is a placement cell who specially looks after it. The alumini is very supportive they help everyone in whatever ways they can.
