Animalia, Monera, Fungi, Protista, and Plantae are the five main kingdoms that were proposed by R.H. Whittaker. This classification was done on the basis of the cell structure, nutrition source, mode, and body design. The animal kingdom consists of all the animals. It is the largest Kingdom of all. Animals are multicellular eukaryotes that do not possess a cell wall of chlorophyll. Based on the body design, the Animalia Kingdom has been further classified unto ten subphylums which are:
