Mizoram Board Class X Result 2027: Details on Scorecard

The HSLC scorecard that MBSE releases on result day is a subject-wise record of your entire examination performance. Here is what you will find on it.

The digital scorecard you download from mbse.edu.in or DigiLocker is for reference and immediate use. Your original marks certificate will be issued through your school after the result. Keep the physical copy safely — you will need it for Class XI admissions, scholarship applications, and other official purposes.

Mizoram Board Class X Result 2027: Passing Marks

MBSE has a three-part passing condition for the HSLC examination. You have to clear all three to be declared passed. Clearing only one or two of these is not enough.

Each HSLC subject carries a total of 100 marks — 80 marks for the theory exam and 20 marks for the practical or internal assessment. You must score at least 27 out of 80 in theory and at least 7 out of 20 in the practical portion to pass a subject. If you fail in the theory part of even one subject while clearing the aggregate, you are still considered failed overall and will need to appear for the compartment exam in that subject.

If you fail in one or two subjects in the HSLC 2027 examination, you do not have to repeat the entire Class X year. MBSE gives you a chance to clear those subjects through the compartment exam (also called the supplementary exam). Mizoram Board Class X Result 2027: Revaluation and Re-checking

If you feel your marks do not reflect your actual performance in the HSLC 2027 examination, MBSE gives you the option to apply for re-checking or revaluation of your answer papers. The application window opens a few weeks after the result is declared.

• Re-checking: The board verifies that all questions are assessed, totaling is correct, and no answer page is left unmarked. It does not involve a fresh evaluation by an examiner.
• Revaluation: Your answer paper is evaluated again by a different examiner. If revised marks are found, your scorecard is updated accordingly.

What After Mizoram Board Class X Result 2027?

Once the HSLC 2027 result is out, your next steps depend on whether you passed or need another attempt. Here is what to plan for.

If you passed:

• Choose a stream: Decide between Science, Commerce, and Arts/Humanities for Class XI based on your marks and career interests. Science stream generally requires a higher percentage, especially in Mathematics and Science subjects.
• Apply to Class XI: Contact the school you want to join for HSSLC (Higher Secondary) admissions. Most Mizoram schools start Class XI admissions in May–June, right after the HSLC result is out.
• Collect your original certificate: Your physical HSLC marksheet and pass certificate are issued through your school. Collect and keep these safely — you need them for Class XI admission, competitive exams, and government document applications.
