Example From Chapter 16 Playing with Numbers 

Ques: Choose a 3-digit number. Reverse the order of this number, subtract the smaller number from the larger number, and divide the answer by 99. Do you get a remainder?

Soln: 

Let the chosen number be 234

On reversing, it becomes = 432

Next, subtracting the smaller number from the larger one, we get 

432 – 234 = 198

Then, 

198 ÷ 99 = 2, gives no remainder
