Recycling of waste is the process by which waste products are converted into useful materials or products through various processes. The process of recycling of wastes includes the reprocessing of organic matter but it does not include the energy recovery and the reprocessing into those substances which are to be used as either fuels or for the backfilling operations. In other words, recycling denotes a method by which there is collection and subsequent breakdown of the waste material in order to create something new out of it, that is, to reuse it.
