UPCET Exam Centers 2027: City List Expected, Allotted Center and Change Policy

UPCET 2027 Exam Centers list is going to be released along with the official information brochure. For the 2027 examination, UPCET is going to be conducted at 60+ exam centers across Uttar Pradesh and select cities in other states. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to release the test center allotment for successfully registered candidates after the registration window closes. Candidates can check the allotted center through the candidate login on the official website at upcet.nta.nic.in. All details including the candidate’s UPCET exam center address, reporting time, date, and slot are going to be mentioned in the UPCET Admit Card 2027.

UPCET Exam Centers 2027

NTA is going to conduct UPCET 2027 across cities in Uttar Pradesh as well as a select number of cities outside the state. Candidates who complete the UPCET 2027 registration are going to be able to choose up to 3 exam cities in order of preference from the official city list. NTA then allots one specific center within the chosen city based on seat availability. Note that B.Tech first-year admissions to AKTU-affiliated colleges are made on the basis of JEE Main scores; UPCET is conducted by NTA for programs such as B.Tech Lateral Entry, MBA, BHMCT, and related lateral and postgraduate courses.

Note: The city list below is based on UPCET previous year (2025-26) data. The official UPCET 2027 exam city list will be released with the information brochure. The final city count and names for 2027 may vary.

Note: Although candidates fill their preference of UPCET exam center while submitting the application form, NTA reserves the final right to allocate test centers to all candidates. In case of any unforeseen event such as insufficient accommodation at a particular center or any technical issue, the exam conducting authority reserves the right to add or remove any center from the final list.

UPCET 2027 Exam Center Allotment Process

NTA allots UPCET exam centers after the registration window closes, based on seat availability and the city preferences submitted during form-filling. Unlike exams that allow slot booking, UPCET candidates do not get to choose a specific center within the city - only the city preference is recorded, and NTA assigns the particular venue. The allotted center is revealed only on the admit card.

• Step 1: Candidates select up to 3 exam cities in order of preference during UPCET 2027 form filling.
• Step 2: After the registration window closes, NTA processes the city preferences of all registered candidates.
• Step 3: One exam center within the candidate’s highest-available preference city is allotted by NTA.
• Step 4: The allotted center name, address, reporting time, and exam date are published on the UPCET 2027 Admit Card.
• Step 5: Candidates download the admit card from upcet.nta.nic.in and note the allotted center details.

Note: NTA does not guarantee allotment in the first-preference city if that center is full. Candidates should be prepared to appear at any one of their 3 chosen cities. Selecting cities close to home reduces travel risk on exam day.

How to check UPCET Exam Center 2027 Allotted?

The allotted UPCET exam center is disclosed through the official admit card. Candidates are going to be able to download the admit card from upcet.nta.nic.in once NTA releases it. The admit card shows the full center address, exam date, reporting time, and candidate details - all in one document. There is no separate center allotment slip for UPCET; the admit card itself is the primary reference.

The steps to check the allotted UPCET exam center 2027 are:

• Step 1: Visit the official website of UPCET.
• Step 2: Click on the "Download Admit Card" or "UPCET 2027 Test Center Allotment" link on the homepage.
• Step 3: Enter the application number, date of birth, and security pin in the required fields.
• Step 4: Click "Submit" to proceed.
• Step 5: The admit card with the allotted exam center name, full address, and reporting time is going to be displayed on screen.
• Step 6: Download and print the admit card. Carry a printed copy to the exam center on exam day.

Note: Candidates are required to appear for the test on the designated date and time slot at the allocated exam venue only. No candidate is going to be permitted to enter the exam hall without a printed copy of the UPCET 2027 Admit Card.

UPCET 2027 Exam Center Change: Is It Allowed?

UPCET exam center change is permitted only during the officially notified application form correction window. This window is a short period after the initial registration closes, during which candidates can update certain application details including exam city preferences. Once this window shuts and the admit card is published, the allotted center is fixed and no further change is possible through any channel.

• Center change via the correction window - allowed only within the notified correction dates on the UPCET portal.
• Center change after admit card release - not allowed under any circumstances.
• Requests submitted via email, phone, or post are not accepted by NTA outside the correction window.
• Candidates who miss the correction window must appear at the center printed on their admit card.

The correction window dates for UPCET 2027 are going to be announced in the official exam schedule. Candidates are advised to bookmark upcet.nta.nic.in and check it regularly after registration closes.

UPCET 2027 Exam Day Instructions

Candidates are required to follow certain instructions at the UPCET exam center on the day of the exam:

1. All candidates are required to carry the UPCET Admit Card 2027 to the exam center along with a valid government-issued photo ID proof.
2. Reach the exam center at least 60 to 90 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card to allow for document verification, biometric registration, and seating.
3. If possible, visit the exam center one day before the exam to identify the exact route and location.
4. Candidates must sit only at the seat and system designated to them in the exam hall. Sitting at another candidate’s assigned system is not permitted.
5. All UPCET exam centers operate under CCTV and web-camera surveillance throughout the examination.
6. Carrying prohibited items such as mobile phones, digital watches, Bluetooth devices, calculators, pagers, or any written material into the hall is strictly not allowed. Candidates found with such items will be debarred from the exam.
7. The entry gate closes before the exam starts. Candidates arriving after gate closure may not be allowed to enter the hall.
8. Report any technical issue with the computer system immediately to the invigilator present in the exam hall.
9. Rough work should be done on the rough sheet provided at the hall and must be submitted to the invigilator before leaving.
10. Do not leave the exam hall before completing the exam or without the invigilator’s permission.

Candidates should carry the following to the UPCET 2027 exam center:

• Printed copy of the UPCET 2027 Admit Card
• One valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar card, PAN card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License)
• Two recent passport-size photographs matching the one uploaded in the application form
