    UPSEE MBA 2020 Exam Pattern will provide an insight on the marking scheme, number of sections and marks distribution.     UPSEE MBA 2020 is tentatively scheduled for third week of April 2020 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in offline mode. The state-level examination is conducted for candidates seeking admissions to various post-graduate management programs, offered by about 350 institutes in Uttar Pradesh.     UPSEE MBA Exam Pattern 2020 Details 

    As mentioned in the table above, UPSEE MBA 2020 is a pen-paper based exam and will be held in offline mode only. Candidates will be required to mark their answers on the computer screen, making use of the mouse provided.

    • The duration of the exam is a total of two hours.
    • Questions asked in the exam will be multiple choice questions (MCQ) or objective type.
    • Each question will have four possible options out of which only one will be correct.
    • Candidates will be required to mark any one of the available choices.
    • Each question will be worth 4 marks and there will be 100 questions in all. So, the maximum marks of the question paper will be 400.
    • No negative marking is there.

    UPSEE MBA Exam Pattern

    UPSEE MBA 2020 question paper will consist of four sections, each with 25 questions. The sections will be that of English language, Numerical aptitude, Thinking and Decision making and General Awareness. Candidates will have to solve problems from all four sections and attain the highest possible score.

    As far as marking scheme is concerned, candidates will be awarded 4 marks for each correct answer. In case a candidate gets an answer wrong, there will be no negative penalty. This is a bonus point and candidates should make the most out of it by attempting each and every question. It may be noted, however, that the examination conducting body will keep a record of all the wrong answers.

    After the exam has been successfully held, the results will be announced on the official website of UPSEE. Candidates must check the latest updates released on the website.

    It is important for a candidate to possess complete and thorough knowledge of the syllabus for UPSEE MBA 2020.     This section focuses on numerical problems and will test a candidate’s mathematical knowledge. It is a test of speed, accuracy, and precision. This section may feature problems involving numerical calculation, arithmetic, simple algebra. Questions from topics of geometry and trigonometry may also be included. Some of the problems may involve interpretation of graphs, charts and tables.

    The third section of the question paper will be aimed at assessing a candidate’s aptitude towards creative thinking, unfamiliar relationships, and finding patterns and trends. The questions may be centered on verbal reasoning and assessment of figures and diagrams.

    Preparation Tips: the section of Thinking and Decision making, it is especially recommended to go through questions from past years’ papers, as it will provide a strong concept of the type of questions asked and how exactly to solve them.     1. General Awareness

    Here, in the last part of the question paper, the candidate’s knowledge of current affairs will be tested. Students can expect questions from issues related to trade, industry, economy, sports, culture and science.

    Preparation Tips: Preparation of General Awareness consists of reading the newspapers regularly and staying up to date regarding the current affairs of the world. Magazines such as Outlook and India Today may also prove to be hugely beneficial.
