Vitamin K is a certain group of fat-soluble vitamins which are present in foods. Food loaded with Vitamin K is sold as dietary supplements. For the post-synthesis alteration of some proteins, vitamin K is needed by the human body which helps in the coagulation of blood. Vitamin K is also known as the blood clotting Vitamin.
