Berlin School of Business and Innovation fees for Indian students run €14,425 (INR 13.63 Lakhs) for the standard 18-month Master’s and €19,440 (INR 18.37 Lakhs) for the 24-month Concordia University Chicago dual MBA. The Global MBA with University for the Creative Arts, MSc International Business, and MA Innovation and Entrepreneurship are the three most-applied programmes among Indian applicants.

The January 2027 intake is the realistic entry point for Indian applicants planning now, because the October 2026 intake needs an approved German student D-visa in hand within weeks. BSBI runs four intake windows a year (January, May, June, October), letting you align start dates with your loan sanction or scholarship timeline.

  • Global MBA (UCA, 18 months): €15,525 (INR 14.67 Lakhs)
  • MSc International Business / Digital Business (18 months): €14,425 (INR 13.63 Lakhs)
  • MBA Concordia University Chicago (24 months): €19,440 (INR 18.37 Lakhs)
  • High Achievers Scholarship: up to 50% off tuition
  • Full Upfront Payment Discount: additional 5% saving on total tuition

An 18-month MSc at BSBI totals roughly INR 33 Lakhs including Berlin living costs and the mandatory blocked account, and the Concordia MBA lands near INR 42 Lakhs over 24 months, both well under private-school benchmarks in North America. Exchange rate as fetched from xe.com: 1 EUR = INR 94.50.

October 2026 Intake: Deadline-Pressure Cycle for Indian Applicants

Intake: October 2026 is workable only if you already hold a conditional offer and a visa slot; realistic entry for planners is January 2027. Both intakes accept UG (BA, BSc) and PG (MBA, MSc, MA) with no January-only PG restriction, unlike UK universities.

Fee update: The 2026/27 rate is €14,425 (INR 13.63 Lakhs) for standard 18-month Masters and €19,440 (INR 18.37 Lakhs) for the Concordia MBA; combined with the High Achievers Scholarship at 25%, net tuition drops to about INR 10.22 Lakhs for the MSc.

When to pay: A tuition deposit of €3,000 (INR 2.83 Lakhs) secures your admission letter for the visa file; October 2026 deposit is due within two weeks of offer, January 2027 deposit is due by 15 November 2026.

Scholarships: BSBI’s own High Achievers and Full Upfront Payment awards are open on rolling basis and stack; external Indian awards (Inlaks, JN Tata) close between February and April 2027 and are timed for a September 2027 start, so BSBI’s internal awards are the primary lever for the January intake.

Berlin School of Business and Innovation Tuition Fees by Programme

BSBI publishes tuition as a fixed programme-total rather than an annual rate, and the same rate applies at the Berlin, Hamburg, Paris, Barcelona, and Madrid campuses for most degrees. Application to BSBI is free for international candidates, so the numbers below are the pure tuition liability.

Undergraduate Programme Fees: October 2026 and January 2027 Intakes

BSBI’s undergraduate portfolio is limited compared to its Master’s tier, with a BA International Tourism Management and a BSc Business Administration as the two live paths for Indian applicants. Both run three years, and combined with a smaller UG cohort, most Indian enrolments concentrate on the MBA and MSc programmes below.

Postgraduate Programme Fees: October 2026 and January 2027 Intakes

The postgraduate portfolio is where BSBI’s Indian numbers concentrate, with three price bands: standard 18-month Masters at €14,425, the Global MBA at €15,525, and the 24-month Concordia MBA at €19,440.

Source: Berlin School of Business and Innovation official tuition schedule for 2026/27 international students; application fee is waived for international applicants across all programmes.

Note: BSBI charges programme-total tuition, not per academic year, so the €14,425 for the 18-month MSc is your full tuition liability, not an annual figure. A standard MSc therefore averages roughly €9,616 (INR 9.08 Lakhs) per year, which is materially lower than most UK or US private business schools quoting €20,000+ per year.

Berlin School of Business and Innovation Fee Trend by Year

BSBI is a comparatively young institution (established 2017, first intake 2018) and does not publish a multi-year archived fee schedule. The 18-month MSc rate of €14,425 has held stable across the last three annual cycles, and the school has not signalled a 2027/28 revision as of the current cycle.

Academic YearMSc Standard (EUR)MSc Standard (INR)YoY Change
2024/25€14,425INR 13.63 LakhsBaseline
2025/26€14,425INR 13.63 Lakhs0.0%
2026/27 (current)€14,425INR 13.63 Lakhs0.0%

Source: Berlin School of Business and Innovation published tuition schedule; BSBI holds its total-programme tuition flat across intakes within the same academic cycle.

Key Insight: Fix your tuition at the 2026/27 rate of €14,425 (INR 13.63 Lakhs) by depositing for the January 2027 intake before 15 November 2026. If BSBI moves to a 2027/28 revision aligned with German inflation of roughly 3%, waiting for the May or June 2027 intake could add about INR 40,000 to the same MSc.

Cost of Living in Berlin for Indian Students at Berlin School of Business and Innovation

Berlin is the cheapest major European capital for students, running about 25% below Munich, Paris, or London on rent and groceries. A realistic monthly budget for a BSBI student living in shared housing in Neukolln or Kreuzberg sits at around €1,115 (INR 1.05 Lakhs).

Source: Berlin School of Business and Innovation international student cost estimates, cross-verified against DAAD Berlin living-cost data for 2025/26 (daad.de) and Berlin housing pricing on WG-Gesucht.

Note: The German government sets a minimum €992/month living-cost benchmark for the student visa file, meaning your Berlin budget must show at least this figure. BSBI’s own cost estimate of €1,050-€1,200/month aligns with this, so building a €1,115 monthly plan gives you a small buffer without inflating the visa application.

Berlin’s rental market is competitive, and international students who lock a room three months before arrival save roughly €50-€100 a month versus last-minute bookings. BSBI’s student services team assists with WG placement, which is the standard shared-flat model in Germany.

Currency Tip: Fund your blocked account for the January 2027 intake through a forex-partnered provider such as Fintiba or Coracle rather than a direct SWIFT wire, saving 1.5-2% on the €11,904 (INR 11.25 Lakhs) deposit. The Deutschlandticket student-only rate applies from day one of enrolment, so buy it only after your matriculation certificate arrives, not on landing.

Total Cost of Studying at Berlin School of Business and Innovation

The full 18-month MSc programme cost for an Indian student, including tuition, Berlin living, mandatory visa costs, and the blocked account, lands at approximately INR 33 Lakhs. A 24-month Concordia MBA runs closer to INR 42 Lakhs on the same basis, and both figures are before the High Achievers Scholarship.

Financed at INR 33 Lakhs on a 10-year Indian education loan at 10.5%, the equated monthly instalment lands at approximately INR 44,500 per month. The 24-month Concordia MBA at INR 44 Lakhs runs to about INR 59,300 per month on the same terms.

Key Insight: Stack the High Achievers Scholarship at 25% (INR 3.41 Lakhs saving) with the Full Upfront Payment Discount at 5% (another INR 68,000) on the MSc, and your net tuition drops from INR 13.63 Lakhs to INR 9.54 Lakhs. Lock both before the 15 November 2026 deposit deadline for the January 2027 intake, since the upfront-payment window closes with your first-instalment date.

Berlin School of Business and Innovation Scholarships for Indian Students

Tip for Indian Students: For a January 2027 BSBI start, treat BSBI’s High Achievers award as your primary lever and stack the Full Upfront Payment discount for immediate 30% saving. External India trusts typically disburse for September starts, so if you also want an Inlaks or KC Mahindra, defer your intake to May or June 2027 and submit trust applications by 12 March 2027.

Berlin School of Business and Innovation Tuition Deposit and Payment Options

A tuition deposit of €3,000 (INR 2.83 Lakhs) secures your admission letter, which is the document you present at the German consulate for the D-visa application. The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel voluntarily but is fully refunded if your visa is denied with official rejection paperwork, and it counts against your total tuition.

Methods of Payment for Berlin School of Business and Innovation Fees

  • Bank transfer (SEPA or SWIFT): Direct to BSBI’s Deutsche Bank account; expect a 2-4% margin loss on standard SWIFT.
  • Flywire: BSBI’s contracted international payment provider, quoted in INR at the point of transfer; typically 1-1.5% cheaper than a raw wire.
  • Forex prepaid card: Cards from HDFC, ICICI, or Niyo Global load INR to EUR at 1-1.5% margin, safest for small instalments after arrival.
  • Education loan direct disbursement: HDFC Credila, Avanse, and SBI can wire tuition to BSBI directly; requires BSBI’s Bank of Baroda counterparty details or Flywire reference.

Steps to Pay the Tuition Fee for International Students

  1. Accept your BSBI offer letter online and generate the deposit invoice.
  2. Pay the €3,000 (INR 2.83 Lakhs) deposit via Flywire within two weeks of the offer.
  3. Receive your Letter of Acceptance and Blocked Account confirmation, both required for the visa file.
  4. Pay the balance tuition either upfront (to unlock the 5% discount) or in three semester instalments, each due before the semester start date.
  5. Retain every payment receipt and bank statement for the visa file and for the Section 80E tax deduction back home.

Source: Berlin School of Business and Innovation official fees and payment page; instalment schedule confirmed for the 2026/27 cycle for both October 2026 and January 2027 intakes.

Tip for Indian Students: The January 2027 deposit deadline is 15 November 2026, and a SWIFT wire from an Indian bank can take 5-7 working days plus RBI LRS reporting. Start the Flywire or Credila route no later than 1 November 2026 so the deposit lands, your acceptance letter issues, and you can book a VFS Germany appointment before December.

Hidden Costs of Studying at Berlin School of Business and Innovation

Time-sensitive for the January 2027 intake: the blocked account of €11,904 (INR 11.25 Lakhs) must sit in a German bank before your visa interview, and Fintiba or Coracle charge a one-time setup fee of about €120 (INR 11,340).

  • German student visa (D-type): €75 (INR 7,088), paid at the VFS Germany centre in India.
  • Blocked account setup fee: €120-€150 (INR 11,340-14,175) at Fintiba, Expatrio, or Coracle.
  • Residence permit after arrival: €100 (INR 9,450), paid at the Auslanderbehorde within 90 days of landing.
  • Anmeldung (city registration) plus initial setup: €200-€300 (INR 18,900-28,350) for rental deposits, WBS documentation, and biometric photos.
  • IELTS retake, if band 5.5 not met: INR 17,000 per attempt.
  • Flight (Delhi/Mumbai to Berlin, one-way): INR 40,000-70,000.
  • Initial three-month buffer (rent deposit, groceries, transport): €2,500 (INR 2.36 Lakhs).

Budget approximately INR 3.5-4.5 Lakhs in first-year hidden costs on top of tuition and living, most of it front-loaded before the semester begins.

Note: The single most-forgotten cost is the Kaution, a Berlin flat security deposit that runs two to three months’ cold rent, or about €1,000-€1,500 (INR 94,500-INR 1.42 Lakhs) paid upfront to the landlord. It is refundable on move-out but blocks liquid cash for 18-24 months, so factor it into your loan sanction, not into monthly expenses.

Fee Saving Strategies at Berlin School of Business and Innovation for Indian Students

The single most urgent cost lever for the October 2026 or January 2027 intake is the Full Upfront Payment Discount, which is only available if you clear the full tuition before your first-semester start date and stacks on top of any scholarship.

  • Full Upfront Payment Discount (5%): Saves INR 68,000 on an MSc; stacks with the High Achievers award.
  • WG shared housing over studio flats: Rent drops from €800 to €500 monthly, saving INR 5.10 Lakhs across an 18-month MSc.
  • Part-time work under Germany’s 140 full-day rule: Students may work up to 140 full days a year at €13-€15 an hour, adding €6,000-€8,000 (INR 5.67-INR 7.56 Lakhs) annually.
  • Section 80E tax deduction: Full interest on the Indian education loan is deductible for eight assessment years, reducing effective loan cost by 20-30%.
  • Germany 18-month job-seeker residence permit post-study: Extends your legal stay for a graduate role, and roughly 65-70% of BSBI graduates convert within this window per the school’s career-services data.

Tip for Indian Students: For the January 2027 intake, aim for the High Achievers Scholarship at 25% (INR 3.41 Lakhs off MSc) plus the Full Upfront Payment Discount at 5% (INR 68,000), for a combined INR 4.09 Lakhs saved on the MSc International Business alone. Both are auto-assessed at the offer stage, so applying with a strong academic file and a clean IELTS 6.5+ is the single highest-value action you can take.

Is Berlin School of Business and Innovation Worth the Cost for Indian Students

A BSBI MSc totals roughly INR 33 Lakhs end to end and pairs with Germany’s 18-month post-study job-seeker permit, so the payback horizon for an average post-graduation salary of €50,000-€60,000 (INR 47-57 Lakhs) is 3-4 years. That is materially shorter than a private UK or US MBA at INR 60-80 Lakhs.

BSBI holds a QS 4-Star Overall Rating, is a PRME signatory since 2020, and won the AMBA and BGA Best Innovation Strategy Award 2025. It is not ranked in the QS World University Rankings or the Times Higher Education table, which is standard for a young private business school, and its Collegedunia Study Abroad rank sits at #68 in Germany.

Financed at INR 25 Lakhs (after a 25% scholarship on tuition and self-funded living) on a 10-year loan at 10.5%, the monthly EMI is roughly INR 33,500. A first-year Berlin salary of €3,500 net monthly (INR 3.31 Lakhs) covers this EMI three times over with room for living costs and savings.

Key Insight: Net programme cost after the 25% High Achievers Scholarship plus 5% Upfront Discount lands near INR 28-29 Lakhs for the MSc, and BSBI’s 65-70% post-study conversion rate in Germany means the effective payback horizon is closer to 2.5-3 years for graduates who convert their job-seeker permit into a full role within the 18-month window.

Budget INR 33-42 Lakhs end to end for a BSBI Master’s programme starting January 2027, cut this to INR 25-29 Lakhs with the High Achievers Scholarship and Full Upfront Payment Discount, and expect a 10-year EMI of roughly INR 33,500-44,500 offset by a €3,500 monthly Berlin salary within the 18-month post-study window. The single action to take now: pay the €3,000 (INR 2.83 Lakhs) deposit before 15 November 2026 to lock the 2026/27 tuition rate and secure your visa file for the January 2027 intake.

Ques. What are the intake dates at BSBI for Indian students?

Ans. BSBI runs four intakes each year: January, May, June, and October. For Indian applicants applying in mid-2026, the January 2027 intake is the realistic entry point since the October 2026 intake requires a German D-visa in hand within weeks.

Ques. Can I work part-time in Germany while studying at BSBI and how does it offset costs?

Ans. Yes, Indian students on a German D-visa can work up to 140 full days or 280 half days per year, at €13-€15 an hour. This adds €6,000-€8,000 (INR 5.67-INR 7.56 Lakhs) annually, enough to cover monthly living costs for a modest lifestyle.

Ques. What is the monthly EMI on a BSBI MSc education loan for Indian students?

Ans. An Indian education loan of INR 25 Lakhs at 10.5% for 10 years carries an EMI of about INR 33,500 per month, and a loan of INR 33 Lakhs for the full-programme total runs to approximately INR 44,500 per month. A typical BSBI graduate salary of €3,500 net monthly (INR 3.31 Lakhs) covers this EMI comfortably.

Ques. Is Berlin School of Business and Innovation worth the cost for Indian students?

Ans. Yes, for a total programme cost of INR 33 Lakhs (MSc) or INR 44 Lakhs (Concordia MBA), BSBI offers a QS 4-Star rating, UK and US dual-award options, and access to Germany’s 18-month post-study job-seeker permit. Payback horizon is 3-4 years on a starting Berlin salary, materially faster than most UK or US private business schools.

  • The course was mainly just theoretical; we had little to no practical learning given to us throughout the course. The good part about the course was that the content that was supposed to be taught was rich with information and interesting subjects. However, the downside was that not all professors could deliver the content with ease. So you are left highly dependent on your own ability to learn.
  • We had a fairly small batch with about 35 students since BSBI was fairly new back then. The class was about 80% Indians. We had two classes in a week throughout the course except for one module in between, where we had four classes in a week.

Fees

  • The fee for my 3-year course was 27000 euros, which I decided to pay in 3-yearly installments. I received a scholarship from their end, reducing my fee by about 9000 euros. So then I had to make payments for the remaining amount over the duration of three years. My monthly expenses were about 1000 euros but they fluctuated over the years.
  • Rent switched between 450-600 and health insurance is now another 130; apart from that, there's groceries and travel, which come to be around 200-250 euros. Going out expenses depend on person to person.

  • The difficult level, of course, is not too very difficult but not too easy; it will be manageable and if you study a real bit, it will definitely be something you will not find difficult.
  • The demand for my course is so high in the market, but there is too much competition nowadays in Germany in terms of data analysis.
  • The class schedule is that you will have two classes a week in each class you have for 4 hours and off course there are more than 70% Indian students.

Fees

  • The course cost around 12,000 euros but on the website, if we pay fees in one or two go, they will give a 30% discount, which we have to pay all in one or two go in the gap for 4 months.
  • Apart from that, we can also take an installment plan, which will cost 300 euros for a one-time payment.
  • Monthly expenses: ( 750 will be total average cost, which include 400 rent for sharing + 130 Insurance + 100 groceries + 50 Transport tickets.) this is mandatory; apart from that, all depends on you.

My course at Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI) is very good and innovative it does not force us to learn the subjects by the way of exams but it adopts a very hands on approach in which we are more exposed to gain knowledge through practical stuffs and same goes with my course.
