RWTH Business School runs two MBA tracks. The Full-Time MBA Digitalization & Industrial Change is taught in English and is the primary MBA route for Indian applicants. The Executive MBA Technology Management is taught entirely in German and typically fits senior industry professionals already based in Germany, so most Indian applicants without German fluency will not qualify.

RWTH Business School uses a single online applicant portal for every degree program. The workflow has five stages: account creation, an optional Qualification Phase form, the main application, the admission decision, and post-admission enrollment. Expect a decision within 2 to 8 weeks of full submission.

1. Create an account on the RWTH Business School applicant portal.
2. Complete the Qualification Phase form for M.Sc TIME full-time, M.Sc Data Analytics, and Full-Time MBA (skipped for other programs).
3. Fill in the main application, uploading your CV, motivation letter, degree certificate, transcripts, and recommendation letter.
4. Record and upload the short video introduction (typically 2 to 3 minutes).
5. Pay the application fee of €50 (around ₹5,456) via the portal to trigger the admission review.
6. Submit and monitor your portal inbox for a decision within 2 to 8 weeks.

Only complete applications enter the review queue. Missing an APS certificate for the visa stage will not block your admission decision, but it will block your visa appointment later.

RWTH Business School Admission Decisions

Admission decisions arrive through the applicant portal, typically within 2 to 8 weeks of the reviewer receiving a complete file. The offer letter is a conditional admission until you register at the university and pay the first tuition installment. If admitted, the €50 application fee is deducted from your first-semester tuition.

• Offer window: Decisions issued 2 to 8 weeks after full submission.
• Acceptance step: Confirm your seat within the deadline stated on the offer letter (usually 2 to 4 weeks).
• Enrollment condition: First-semester tuition installment plus proof of health insurance before matriculation.
• Deferral policy: Deferrals are considered case by case, most commonly for visa delays.

Rejected applicants may reapply in a later cycle. There is no formal waitlist system, and rolling review means an early submission has practical advantages when class sections fill up.
