Trinity College Dublin Admissions Deadlines

Trinity College Dublin has separate admission deadlines for domestic and international applicants. The admission deadlines for international applicants applying for the undergraduate programs are as follows:

  • 1 February for admissions decision by 1 April
  • 1 February for Music, Drama, Dental Science and Medicine
  • 30 June for Advanced Entry (1 February for courses listed above)
  • 30 June for rolling decisions

Visa Process for International Students

International students who are non-EU/EEA(European Economic Area) must have a student visa to study in any university based in Ireland. Applicants are advised to carefully check all the visa information carefully.

Some important guidelines for the Non-EEA applicants are given below:

  • Applicants attending a degree level program in Ireland is allowed to stay for a maximum period of 7 years.
  • Acceptance letter from university/college, confirming an applicant’s admission to a full-time program.
  • Submission of full amount of fees in advance.
  • In addition to fee payment, applicants must provide evidence of available finances of at least €3,000.
  • Proof of private medical insurance is mandatory for all applicant
