The administration of Agra University has not declared the result for 24 courses for the academic session 2019-20.
Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University (Agra University) has not declared the results even after the delay of one month for 24 courses.
Earlier, the government of Uttar Pradesh had ordered all the colleges and universities in the state to declare the result by October 31, 2020.
Agra University stated that they were not able to declare the result because several Affiliated colleges have not yet sent marks of Practical examinations.
Out of the total 98 courses, the University had declared Agra University result for 74 courses for the academic session 2019-20.
The pending results of 14 postgraduate courses have been declared on November 6, 2020.
Out of 624 affiliated colleges, B.Sc final year result is declared only for 72 while the complete Agra University result including several other courses are not yet declared.
Rajeev Kumar, the registrar of Agra University stated that the result is delayed because of some of the self-financed colleges which have not sent the marks of the practical exams yet.
The university has also received complaints that marks were provided to students without conducting examinations in few colleges.
Hence the Agra University has requested all the colleges to send the answer sheet in form of a CD but only a few colleges have sent it, Rajeev Kumar stated.
In the next examination committee meeting, the entire matter will be discussed and strict actions will be taken against the colleges for causing an excessive delay in Agra University result, the Registrar mentioned.
