Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has announced that semester exams 2019-2020 for final year students will be conducted from January 7, 2021.
ATKU released an official notification stating that the institute has taken this decision to provide relief to the students who could not appear for exams of the 2019-2020 session due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and the nationwide lockdown.
Thus, this decision to conduct the semester examination of 2019-2020 was taken to provide opportunities to such students to clear their exams and receive their degrees. The semester exams will be conducted from January 7, 2021.
In addition, the sub-semester exams for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-year students which was discontinued earlier due to the widespread of COVID 19, will also be re-organized from January 7, 2021.
To make sure that there is no outbreak of the virus, AKTU has given out special instructions to the staff for arranging tentative exam centers for the smooth conduct of exams. AKTU will follow all the Covid-19 guidelines and SOPs as issued by the authorities when conducting the exams to prevent the risk of infection.
The concerned authorities have also asked the students and the teachers to take necessary precautions. As instructed by the Health Ministry, wearing masks and carrying hand sanitizers will be mandatory for everyone during the period of examination.
