Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test (AME CET) 2027 registration has begun. The application window opened at amecet.in on September 1, 2026. Candidates can apply online till March 31, 2027 for the entrance exam.
The test is a gateway to over 15 aviation career tracks. These include Commercial Pilot Licence and Aircraft Maintenance Engineering courses. Aeronautical Engineering, BBA in Aviation, and cabin crew programmes are also offered.

AME CET 2027 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be aged between 14 and 28 years at admission. The minimum qualifying mark is 45 percent in Class 10 or 12. The exact requirement depends on the aviation course chosen by the aspirant.
Pilot programmes need Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at the Class 12 level. Each aspirant gets a maximum of three attempts at the exam.

AME CET 2027 Exam Pattern
The paper carries 90 multiple-choice questions worth a total of 360 marks. Candidates get 90 minutes to complete the test. The question paper is available in both English and Hindi.

Every qualified candidate gets at least a 10 percent scholarship. Top All India Rank holders can win up to 100 percent waivers. The scholarship covers first-semester tuition fees at the allotted institute.
