Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) is now holding the Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET) 2020. The test is being held across many districts of Andhra Pradesh. Steps have been taken to ensure the safety of candidates amid the pandemic.

SVU and concerned authorities are making sure that social distancing is maintained during the examination and that sanitation measures are being taken regularly. Candidates kept a distance of six feet from each other, standing in circles drawn at the entry point. Instead of keeping the seat allotment list outside the examination centre, the staff scanned barcodes to tell the laboratory numbers of the candidates.

The temperatures of the candidates were checked at the time of entry using thermo- guns. Candidates who ran a temperature or exhibited any other symptom of COVID-19 had to sit in an isolated room.

Candidates had to carry their own masks, gloves and sanitizers to the examination centres. They had to sanitize their hands using a sanitizer provided by the authorities.

The answer key for AP ICET 2020 will be released on 12 September. Candidates will be able to verify their responses with the help of the answer key and arrive at an estimate of their scores.

API CET is an entrance test held for admission to colleges and universities in Andhra Pradesh for MBA and MCA courses.
