AP NEET UG MQ Phase 2 Option Entry 2026 Begins; Check Last Date to Submit Options

The Dr N.T.R. University of Health Sciences (Dr NTRUHS), Vijayawada has opened the Management Quota (MQ) Phase 2 option entry for the Andhra Pradesh National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (AP NEET UG) 2026 counselling. The notification was issued on October 2, 2026 on the official portal at drntr.uhsap.in. Candidates can access the web options interface at apuhs-ugadmissions.aptonline.in.

The Phase 2 option entry round applies to Management Quota MBBS seats in private unaided medical colleges across Andhra Pradesh. Eligible candidates must log in with their NEET UG 2026 roll number and registered password. They must then submit a fresh set of web options to be considered for Phase 2 seat allotment.

Who Is Eligible to File Options?

Candidates who feature in the final Management Quota merit list dated August 29, 2026, or any subsequent addendum list, are eligible. Candidates allotted a seat in Phase 1 but who did not report also qualify. Candidates who used the Free Exit option in Phase 1 are not eligible to participate.

Phase 1 preferences will not carry forward to Phase 2. Fresh preference submission is mandatory for all eligible candidates.

MBBS Seats Covered Under Management Quota

Dr NTRUHS allots 3,600 MBBS seats under Management Quota in Andhra Pradesh. These seats are spread across 27 private unaided medical colleges in the state. Phase 2 handles both sliding movements and fresh allotments from the current merit pool.

Category B1 and Category B2 seats are both included in this round. Candidates can arrange their college choices in order of preference without an upper cap on branches within MBBS.

Discontinuation Fee for MBBS Candidates

Candidates who join an MQ seat and later discontinue must pay a discontinuation fee of Rs 3,00,000 for MBBS.

Candidates should therefore check their college preferences carefully before locking options and reporting to the allotted college.

AP NEET UG 2026 Management Quota Counselling Phases

Dr NTRUHS conducts Management Quota counselling in four phases for MBBS admissions. These include Phase 1 for initial allotments, Phase 2 for sliding and fresh allotments, Phase 3 as the mop-up round, and the Stray Vacancy Round. The ongoing counselling stage is Management Quota Phase 2.

2. Click on the Management Quota Phase 2 Option Entry link.
3. Log in with your NEET UG 2026 roll number and registered password.
4. Select private medical colleges and arrange them in order of preference.
5. Review the final preference list carefully before saving.
6. Save the options and download the confirmation page.
