NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
NEET Counselling 2020 is expected to start from the last week of October 2020. The counselling process for 15% of AIQ seats will be conducted by DGHS on the behalf of MCC. Candidates must note that counselling will be conducted online and they need to register online at the official website of MCC to participate in counselling.
State level counselling for 85% seats will be organized separately by the respective state authorities. Each state government will conduct its own counselling process to fulfil the seats in the state medical colleges based on the AIR ranks of the candidates. Download NEET 2020 Scorecard

Candidates must note that admission in Central and Deemed Universities, admission under seats reserved for Wards of Insured Persons in Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) in medical colleges and admission in Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune will be done based on NEET 2020 counselling. MCC has released an official notice for candidates who are claiming to be NRI and wish to change their nationality from Indian to NRI are required to send the relevant documents to support their claim.

Candidates who will qualify the NEET 2020 will be eligible to apply for counselling.
This year the number of medical colleges participating in AIQ counselling has been increased. The increase in the number of colleges and seats will prove beneficial for candidates.
Candidates can check the procedure of NEET 2020 counselling –
MCI conducts the counselling to fill 15% All India Quota Seats in two rounds followed by a mop-up round. The steps involved in NEET Counselling Registration are as follows:
Step I: Visit the official website of MCC and click on ‘New Registration’.
Enter Roll Number, Application Number, Candidate name, Mother name, Date of Birth, Mobile number, Email ID and Security Pin as per your admit card. After entering all the required information, a new Roll No. and Password will be generated. Use these credentials to register for NEET Counselling.
Step II: Log on to the MCC website and click on ‘Candidate login’.
Step III: Enter your Roll Number and Password.
Step IV: You will be redirected to a new page where you will have to enter details like Name, Roll No., Registration No., Mother’s Name, Contact No., etc. When you’re done, click on ‘Submit’.
Step V: After this, you will be shown all your details as per the NTA database. Verify the information and click on ‘Confirm Registration’. A Registration Slip will be generated. Candidates are advised to save this page.
After successful registration, candidates are asked to submit refundable and non-refundable NEET 2020 counselling fee. The fee can be paid through an online medium like Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. Candidates can check the NEET counselling fee 2020 in the table given below-

Choice Locking facility is available for a specific time period on a given day.
MCC releases seat allotment result after each round of counselling. It is released in the form of a list followed by issue of seat allotment letter to the selected candidates. Candidates must report to the allloted colleges with the allotment letter and other documents to finish admission process. Ans. NEET cut off will be decided on the basis of a total number of students appearing for the exam, difficulty level of exam, and the total number of seats available.

Ques. After I join Second Round of Counseling of 15% AIQ can I leave/ Resign to join State Quota/ Private College seat?
Ans: Once you join second round seat from 15% All India Quota, you will not be allowed to vacate from the allotted 2nd round seat as per direction by Hon’ble supreme court in WP(C) (267/2017) dated 09/05/2017.However, if you are allotted a seat in Second Round in AIQ/ Deemed you can Exit with Forfeiture of security amount.
