NEET 2018 Counselling Result (Round 2) for 15% AIQ/Deemed/Central Universities & ESIC has been released now. The Bombay High Court has earlier directed MCC to release the result in W.P. 3885/2018 and PIL No. 87/2018 was stayed by the Supreme Court. The counselling process was adjourned in accordance with the judgements of Bombay High Court in these two cases. Candidates who wish to resign from the allotted seat after the second round of NEET 2018 will have to participate in the online resignation process till August 6, 2018 (03.00 PM).

The MCC had earlier started the All India Quota counselling as well as the counselling for Deemed Universities from June 13, 2018, onwards in accordance with the notice released on June 8, 2018. As per a later notification, the option to give and lock preferences was extended till June 19 up to 11.00 PM.

The eligibility criteria for the compilation of NEET 2018 Merit List is determined on the basis of guidelines as directed by Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India.
Registration for NEET Counselling begins after the declaration of Result. MCI conducts the counselling to fill 15% All India Quota Seats in two rounds. The steps involved in NEET Counselling Registration are as follows:
Step 1: Visit the official website of MCC and click on ‘New Registration’.
After entering all the required information, a new Roll No. and Password will be generated. Use these credentials to register for NEET Counselling.
Step 2: Log on to the MCC website and click on ‘Candidate login’.
Step 3: Enter your Roll number and Password.
Step 4: You will be redirected to a new page where you will have to enter details like Name, Roll No., Registration No., Mother’s Name, Contact No., etc. When you’re done, click on ‘Submit’.
Step 5: After this, you will be shown all your details as per the CBSE database. Verify the information and click on ‘Confirm Registration’. A Registration Slip will be generated. Candidates are advised to take a printout of this page.
Choice Locking will be available for a specific time period on a given day.
After a few days of counselling, the candidates will receive an SMS or Email regarding their allotted course and college.
Who is eligible for the second round of counselling?
The following documents will be required during NEET seat allotment. Candidates must take original documents along with attested photocopies for admission through 15% All India Quota.

Ans. NEET 2018 result will be declared in the first week of June 2018.

Ans. No, only NEET 2018 scores will be considered for getting admission in MBBS/ BDS for the 2018-19 session.

Ans. States will prepare their merit list on the basis of All India Ranks, keeping in view the category of the candidates.
Ques. What are the minimum qualifying marks for NEET exam?
Ans. The minimum qualifying marks for NEET exam should be 50% for general, 45% of general-PH, and 40% marks for reserved categories.

Ans. Merit list will be released after the declaration of NEET Result.

Ans. The details mentioned on the scorecard are Student’s Roll Number, Application Number, Nationality, Applicant’s Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Mother’s Name, Father’s Name, Category, Total Marks, Percentile Score, AIR, and NEET cut off score, Qualifying Status etc.

Ques. After I join Second Round of Counseling of 15% AIQ can I leave/ Resign to join State Quota/ Private College seat?
Ans: Once you join second round seat from 15% All India Quota, you will not be allowed to vacate from allotted 2nd round seat as per direction by Hon’ble supreme court in WP(C) (267/2017) dated 09/05/2017.However if you are allotted a seat in Second Round in AIQ/ Deemed you can Exit with Forfeiture of security amount.
