Chhattisgarh NEET UG 2026 Round 3 Counselling Begins; Check Last Date to Register

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Chhattisgarh has opened fresh Round 3 registration and choice filling for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 state counselling. Candidates can complete the process on the official portal at cgmcc.admissions.nic.in.

The window opened on October 1, 2026, at 11 AM. Fresh registration will close on October 6 at 11:59 PM. Choice filling and locking will remain active till October 7 at 11:59 PM.

As per the official notification, this round covers MBBS and BDS seats across government and private medical and dental colleges in Chhattisgarh. A total of 424 MBBS and BDS vacancies are available in Round 3.

Candidates who had participated in Round 1 or Round 2 must note an important change. Their earlier choice lists have been reset. Fresh choices must be submitted again for Round 3 consideration.

Who Is Eligible for Chhattisgarh NEET UG Round 3?

Only candidates who have a valid NEET UG 2026 scorecard can apply for this round. Applicants must also meet the Chhattisgarh state domicile rules notified by DME.

Fresh candidates who did not register earlier can also take part in Round 3. Candidates allotted a seat in Round 2 but who did not join may apply again, subject to the official eligibility clauses.

How to Register for Chhattisgarh NEET UG Round 3 Counselling?

Follow the steps below to complete the Round 3 registration on the official portal.

1. Visit the official site at cgmcc.admissions.nic.in.
2. Click on the Round 3 fresh registration link.
3. Enter your NEET UG 2026 roll number and personal details.
4. Upload the required documents in the given format.
5. Pay the counselling registration fee online.
6. Submit the form and save the confirmation page.

How to Fill and Lock Choices for Round 3?

Choice filling is a separate step from registration. Candidates must list colleges and courses in order of preference.

1. Log in to the portal using your registered credentials.
2. Open the choice filling tab for Round 3.
3. Select preferred colleges and courses from the list.
4. Arrange them in order of priority.
5. Lock the final list before October 7, 11:59 PM.

Choices not locked by the deadline will auto-lock as per system rules. Candidates who skip choice filling will not be considered for Round 3 allotment.
