How to Download the BCECE 2026 Round 1 PCM Allotment Letter?

Follow the steps below to access the provisional seat allotment letter online.

  • Visit the official BCECEB portal at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
  • Open the BCECE 2026 counselling section on the homepage.
  • Click on the Round 1 seat allotment result link for PCM.
  • Log in using your application number and date of birth.
  • View the allotted college, course, and reporting centre on screen.
  • Download the letter and take a clear printout for reporting.

Who Can Attend the Verification Round?

Only Round 1 allotted candidates can attend the verification. Non-allotted candidates need not visit any nodal centre at this stage. They will get another chance in the Round 2 counselling.

Allotted candidates who fail to report will lose the seat for good. The vacated seat will move into the pool for the next round. This makes on-time reporting critical for every allotted candidate.

Documents Required at the Nodal Centre

Candidates must carry originals along with two sets of self-attested photocopies. The complete list is given below.

  • Provisional seat allotment letter printout
  • BCECE 2026 rank card and admit card
  • Class 10 mark sheet and certificate
  • Class 12 mark sheet and certificate
  • Category certificate, wherever applicable
  • Domicile certificate of Bihar, if claiming state quota
  • Aadhaar card or other valid photo ID proof
  • Four recent passport-size photographs

What Happens During Document Verification and Admission?

The nodal centre will check each original document against the counselling record. Candidates then pay the seat acceptance fee online. The final admission slip is issued only after successful fee payment.

Candidates wanting a better seat can opt for upgradation. They will hold the current seat until the next round. Those who withdraw at this stage will exit the counselling process.

How Is the Seat Acceptance Fee Paid?

The seat acceptance fee must be paid online. Approved modes include net banking, debit card, credit card, and UPI. The exact fee slab depends on the allotted institute and course.

The fee receipt must be preserved and shown at the nodal centre. Cash payment is not accepted at the verification counter. A printed copy of the receipt is also needed for records.

How Does BCECE 2026 Counselling Work After Round 1?

The counselling process runs through multiple rounds till seats are filled. The board will hold Round 2 for upgradation and fresh allotment. A mop-up or spot round may follow if seats stay vacant.

Candidates should keep the portal open throughout the counselling period. They should also monitor the official notice section for date changes. Any schedule update will be posted only at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.

Why This Matters

A provisional allotment is not the same as confirmed admission. The seat is confirmed only after verification and fee payment. Candidates who skip the reporting window will lose their allotted seat.

Action Plan for Candidates

  • Download the allotment letter from the official portal without delay.
  • Check the allotted college, course, and reporting nodal centre carefully.
  • Arrange all original documents and two sets of self-attested copies.
  • Reach the assigned nodal centre within the reporting window.
  • Complete verification, pay the seat acceptance fee, and collect the admission slip.
