DCI Releases Revised BDS Admissions 2023 Counseling Schedule; Check Details Here

New Delhi: The Dental Council of India (DCI) has published the counseling schedule for BDS Admissions 2023. Initially, the Dental Council had issued the counseling schedule for BDS round 4 and the stray vacancy round. However, following discussions with the Directorate General of Health Services, the revised counseling schedule has now been released on the official website. 

According to the updated BDS admission 2023 counseling schedule, for round 4, the registration process will commence from October 3, 2023, to October 4, 2023. The payment facility will be available until 3:00 PM on October 4, 2023. The process of choice filling and choice locking will take place between October 3, 2023, and October 4, 2023.

Meanwhile, the third counseling round has commenced today, for which, the registration is open until September 4, 2023. The window for choice filling and locking spans from September 1, 2023, to September 5, 2023. Seat allotment will be processed from September 6, 2023, to September 7, 2023, with results declared on September 8, 2023. 

Moreover, candidates are required to upload their documents on the MCC portal, on September 9, 2023, and reporting can be done between September 10, 2023, and September 18, 2023.

BDS Admissions 2023 Counseling Schedule 

Further, the seat allotment will occur on October 5, 2023, with the results being announced on October 6, 2023. The shortlisted candidates can report to the allotted seats from October 7, 2023, to October 10, 2023.

The stray vacancy round is scheduled to commence on September 21, 2023, and the registration for this round will be open from September 21, 2023, to September 23, 2023. The Choice filling and locking will take place between September 22, 2023, and September 24, 2023. The Seat allotment processing is set for September 25, 2023, with results expected to be declared on September 26, 2023.

DCI has also introduced the 2nd online stray vacancy round, open to all deemed universities and central universities. Notably, no prior registration is needed for this round. The phase of selecting and locking choices is scheduled for October 11, 2023. 

Subsequently, seat allotment will occur on October 12, 2023, and the reporting process will take place between October 13, 2023, and October 15, 2023.

In addition, it's important to note that the academic session for BDS courses will commence on September 10, 2023.
