Candidates allotted BTech and Integrated MSc seats at BIT Deoghar via JoSAA and CSAB 2026 must report at the Jasidih campus from August 13 to 18, 2026 with all original documents for verification and fee payment.
The Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Mesra has released a reporting notice. It applies to allotted candidates at the BIT Deoghar off-campus. Allotments came through Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2026 counselling.
Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) 2026 allottees are also included in the notice. Physical reporting will run from August 13 to 18, 2026. Candidates must appear at the Deoghar campus in Jasidih, Jharkhand.

Documents Required at Reporting
Candidates must carry original documents along with self-attested copies. Missing paperwork may delay verification or cancel the allotted seat.
- JoSAA or CSAB 2026 provisional seat allotment letter
- Seat acceptance letter with online fee payment receipt
- JEE Main 2026 scorecard and admit card
- Class 10 marksheet and pass certificate as date-of-birth proof
- Class 12 marksheet and pass certificate
- Valid photo ID such as Aadhaar or PAN
- Category certificate for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, or PwD claimants
- Medical fitness certificate in the prescribed institute format
- Migration and character certificates from the last institution
- Recent passport-size photographs
- Anti-ragging affidavit filed at antiragging.in
How to Complete the Reporting Process?

On reporting day, students should reach the Deoghar campus with all originals. Institute staff will verify documents and confirm the seat. Fee payment follows verification as per the notified schedule.
Who Should Report at BIT Deoghar?
Only candidates holding a valid JoSAA or CSAB 2026 allotment for BIT Deoghar must report. Allottees for BIT Mesra or the Patna off-campus must follow their own campus schedule.
Candidates who plan to withdraw the seat should not report physically. Withdrawal must be completed within the counselling portal timelines.
BIT Deoghar was established in October 2007 as a BIT Mesra off-campus. It is the eighth Indian campus of the institute. The campus runs UG engineering programmes across core and computing disciplines.
