Karnatak University Dharwad Result 2026 is out course-wise on two portals. NEP and Revised NEP (R-NEP) results open on the state UUCMS portal. CBCS, OTM, external, B.Ed and older-scheme results open on kud.ac.in.

The KUD portal now shows the July-August 2026 CBCS repeater results. This status is as of October 6, 2026. These cover BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA and BBA even semesters. LLB VI Semester and BA LLB X Semester results are also live.

Unhappy students can seek revaluation within 10 days of the result. The UG revaluation fee is Rs. 715 per paper, and Rs. 940 for Law. These fees apply under the Karnatak university notification dated September 15, 2026.

How to Check Karnatak University Dharwad Result 2026?

The steps depend on the scheme. Students should first check the scheme printed on the admit card.

On the KUD Portal (CBCS, OTM, External, PG, B.Ed)

  • Click the link for the program type, such as OTM Result.
  • Select the degree as UG or PG.
  • Select the course and semester from the list.
  • Enter the Register Number and click Submit.
  • Save or print the result page for future use.

On UUCMS (NEP and R-NEP)

  1. Open uucms.karnataka.gov.in and choose Student Login.
  2. Enter the Student ID or enrolment number and password.
  3. Open the Examination or Results section on the dashboard.
  4. Select the academic year and semester to view grade points.
  5. Download the provisional marks card.

Example: A CBCS B.Com IV Semester student checks the KUD UG page. A B.Com IV Semester student under R-NEP checks on UUCMS instead.

Why a KUD Result May Not Show?

Students most often report three problems after results go live. Each has a simple fix.

  • Wrong portal: NEP and R-NEP results never appear on kud.ac.in. They open only on UUCMS.
  • Course missing from the list: The KUD dropdown shows only declared courses. A missing course means its result is still pending.
  • UUCMS login fails: The college office resets UUCMS passwords. Students report this as the quickest fix.

Pending college fees or missing internal marks can also hold a result. The college principal raises such cases with the Examination Section.

KUD Grading System and SGPA Calculation

KUD UG regulations require 40% in each course to pass. Internal and semester-end marks are added together. But the student must also score 40% in the semester-end exam alone.

Take a 100-mark paper with 40 internal and 60 exam marks. The student needs at least 24 exam marks.

Each course percentage converts to a grade point (GP). A GP below 4 counts as fail.

How SGPA and CGPA Are Worked Out?

SGPA is total credits multiplied by GP, divided by semester credits. CGPA uses the same method across all semesters.

Example: A student gets GP 8 in a 4-credit course. The same student gets GP 6 in a 2-credit course. The SGPA is (32 + 12) divided by 6, which is 7.33.

How to Apply for Revaluation and Scrutiny After the KUD Result?

KUD allows revaluation, challenge valuation and re-totalling under its revaluation ordinance. The application must reach the university within 10 days of the result. Regular students apply through the college principal or PG department chairman.

  • Revaluation or challenge valuation covers 2 papers per semester at most.
  • Only theory papers qualify. Practicals, projects and dissertations are excluded.
  • Re-totalling is allowed in any number of theory papers.
  • External students apply directly to the university.

UG students use the UG revaluation application portal. NEP students apply through UUCMS, as in earlier cycles.

How Revised Marks Are Given?

Lower revaluation marks never replace the original marks. A rise up to 5% of maximum marks is added in full. A rise of 5% to 15% gets 5% plus half the extra. A rise above 15% goes to a third examiner.

Important: Revaluation fees are not refunded. Challenge valuation does not exist after a revaluation result.

Ques. Is the KUD result available on DigiLocker?

Ans. Yes. KUD sends marks card data to the National Academic Depository (NAD) and Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) platforms. Once the data is uploaded, students can access their academic records through DigiLocker.

Ques. What is the fee for the KUD original marks card?

Ans. The fee for an original statement of marks is Rs. 175. For most courses, the fee for a duplicate marks card is Rs. 340.

Ques. How can a student correct an error in the KUD marks card?

Ans. Students can apply for correction of errors in their marks card by paying the prescribed Rs. 650 correction fee. However, errors caused by the university or office can be corrected free of cost if reported within two months of the result declaration.

Ques. Can a student improve marks after passing a KUD semester?

Ans. Yes. Eligible students can appear for improvement examinations after passing a semester. The fee for the first UG improvement attempt is Rs. 665 for one paper, while a full-semester improvement attempt costs Rs. 2,360.

Ques. What happens if a student is not satisfied with the revaluation result?

Ans. A student who is dissatisfied with the revaluation outcome can appeal to the Vice-Chancellor within three weeks. The appeal fee is twice the prescribed challenge valuation fee.

Ques. How much of the challenge valuation deposit is refunded?

Ans. Half of the challenge valuation deposit is refunded if the student's marks increase by more than 5%. The full deposit is refunded if the marks increase by more than 20%.
