Applications are invited for two B. Tech courses namely B. Tech (Plastic Technology) and B. Tech (Mechanical Engineering) in CIPET Jaipur. Both courses are for a duration of 4 years.

Candidates can apply for B.Tech (Plastic Technology) and B.Tech (Mechanical engineering) through the official website of Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering &Technology- CIPET, Jaipur.

Admission will be provided on the basis of merit in intermediate or diploma examination. The total number of seats available for the courses is 60. Candidates can apply for the courses until November 11, 2020.

Visit the official website https://www.cipet.gov.in/
Click on the tab that says ‘ CIPET -IPT’
From the drop-down list that appears select IPT Jaipur
From the notification section that will appear on the screen click on B.Tech admission 2020-21
The information and the link for the application form will appear on the screen.
Candidates can click on the link and fill the application form.

CIPET 2020-21: Documents to be uploaded during the application

The candidate must keep the following documents ready as they have to be uploaded on the application form.

Passport size photo of the candidate
Signature of the candidate
Adhaar card
10th Marksheet (verified by Digi locker)
12th / Diploma Marksheet (Verified by Digi Locker)
Caste certificate (if applicable)
Domicile certificate (optional)
Transfer certificate (if applicable)

CIPET 2020-21: Eligibility criteria

The candidate must have passed with a minimum aggregate score of 45% for the General category and 40% for the SC/ST category with Physics and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects.

Optional subjects must be any subjects from the following subjects: Chemistry Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject / Computer Science / Information Technology/ Informatics Practices / Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies/Biology.
