How to Check the COMEDK Round 2 Seat Allotment and Cutoff?

The overall cutoff PDF and the personal allotment letter sit on separate links. Both are hosted on the official COMEDK portal.

  1. Visit the official website at comedk.org.
  2. Click on the UGET 2026 Round 2 seat allotment link.
  3. Log in with the application number and password.
  4. Check the allotted college, branch and category rank.
  5. Download the allotment letter for reporting purposes.

Download the engineering cutoff PDF from the notifications section separately. It lists the closing ranks branch-wise and category-wise across colleges.

What Documents Are Required at the Time of Reporting?

Candidates must carry originals and two sets of self-attested photocopies. The college verifies each document before confirming the admission.

  • COMEDK UGET 2026 admit card and score card.
  • Round 2 seat allotment letter downloaded from the portal.
  • Fee payment receipt generated after online payment.
  • Class 10 mark sheet and passing certificate.
  • Class 12 mark sheet and passing certificate.
  • Transfer certificate and migration certificate from the last institution.
  • KKR eligibility certificate issued by the competent authority.
  • Aadhaar card and recent passport-size photographs.

Who Was Eligible for COMEDK Round 2 2026?

Round 2 was restricted to a specific pool of candidates. The three eligible groups are listed below.

  • KKR candidates who opted for Accept and Upgrade in Round 1.
  • KKR candidates who opted for Reject and Upgrade in Round 1.
  • KKR candidates who did not receive any seat in Round 1.

Candidates outside this pool were not permitted to participate. Non-KKR seats were closed after the Round 1 allotment itself.

What Is the Seat Cancellation Rule?

Candidates who wish to withdraw can cancel their allotted seat online. The cancellation window is open from August 7 to August 11, 2026. Failure to report also leads to automatic seat forfeiture.

The refund of tuition fees follows the standard COMEDK refund policy. Processing charges may be deducted per the official notification.

Why This Matters for KKR Candidates

Kalyana Karnataka Region is a horizontal reservation zone under Article 371J. Round 2 gives KKR students a second shot at top Bangalore seats.

Action Plan for Candidates

  1. Download the allotment letter from the COMEDK portal today.
  2. Arrange the admission fee before the August 10 payment cutoff.
  3. Keep all original documents ready for physical verification.
  4. Confirm the reporting time with the allotted college in advance.
  5. Report to the college only with Accept and Freeze status.
  6. Retain the fee receipt and reporting slip for future use.
Keep an Eye On

Watch the COMEDK portal for any mop-up round notice after August 11. The board typically clears vacant seats through direct college-level counselling.
