COMEDK BArch Round 1 Counselling 2026 Schedule Released; Check Seat Allotment Date

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has released the Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) Round 1 counselling 2026 schedule on the official portal at comedk.org. The Round 1 seat allotment result will be declared on August 12, 2026 at 2 PM. Candidates can check and act on the allotment through their COMEDK login.

COMEDK conducts centralised counselling for BArch admissions to member and participating institutions across Karnataka. The process covers rank card release, mock choice filling, mock allotment, edited choice filling, and final Round 1 allotment.

The full Round 1 schedule notified by COMEDK is listed below. Candidates must complete each activity strictly within the notified window.

What Happens on August 12?

The Round 1 seat allotment result will go live on the COMEDK portal at 2 PM on August 12, 2026. Allotted candidates must then take one of four decisions within the same window. The options are Accept and Freeze, Accept and Upgrade, Reject and Reappear, or Reject and Exit.

Only candidates who choose Accept and Freeze are permitted to report to the allotted college. Reporting must be done strictly within August 12 to 17, 2026, failing which the allotted seat may be lost.

Who Is Eligible for COMEDK BArch Round 1?

Only candidates holding a valid COMEDK 2026 BArch rank card can take part in Round 1 counselling. The rank card was released on August 5, 2026 at 4 PM. Candidates must also have a valid NATA 2026 or JEE Main 2026 Paper 2A score, as required by COMEDK.

Applicants who leave the choice form blank after Round 1 will not be considered for further rounds. Filling at least one valid choice during the edit window is therefore mandatory.

How to Check COMEDK BArch Round 1 Seat Allotment 2026?

Candidates can follow the steps below on August 12, 2026 to view their Round 1 allotment result.

• Visit the official COMEDK website at comedk.org.
• Click on the BArch Counselling 2026 link on the homepage.
• Log in using the User ID and password used for choice filling.
• Open the Round 1 Seat Allotment Result tab.
• Check the allotted college, course, and category details.
• Select one of the four decision options and submit.
• Download the allotment letter for reporting to the college.

Documents Required at the Time of Reporting

Candidates reporting to their allotted college between August 12 and 17, 2026 must carry the required originals along with a set of self-attested copies. Missing documents may lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.
