Delhi University has released a notification regarding the procedures for internal assessment, projects and viva voice etc for the semester exams in December 2020 for the principals of colleges and deans of departments.
The notice released by DU hints the absence of physical classes in this semester. Further, it states that unlike the earlier process of internal assessment, now only one component from the class test, tutorial test, and attendance, would be used for assessment.
However, for the School of Open Learning (SOL), this methodology will not be practised.
“ Internal assessment of the students must also be carried out using IT tools. All teachers should give assignments to the students in the prescribed format in email and google classroom. Students would have to submit the solved assignments to the teacher via email at a defined time. After evaluation, the respective teacher will submit the result to the principal and the head of the department,” reads the notice.
