Delhi University: Semester Exams to be Held in December 2020, Check Details Here

Delhi University has announced semester exams for students will be conducted from December 12, 2020. The date sheets for the same are likely to be released in the first week of November. 

The exam being conducted by Delhi University is for students of Semester 3rd, 5th, 7th, repeaters of Semester 1st, 3rd, 5th of UG and PG programmes, ex-students, and students from SOL and NCWEB. 

All Ex-students of Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), as well as erstwhile FYUP (BTech), will also be attempting the examination in the blended form. However, the syllabus will be the same as the scheme of study during admission.

The exam will be conducted for a duration of 3 hours in two shifts every day including Sundays. A detailed timetable of the same will be released by the officials. 

All the information about the examination and the mode in which it will take place has been mentioned in the official notice that has been uploaded on the official website of Delhi University.

The varsity has also informed that students must consider only the information available on the official website as authentic and that students must go through each instruction regularly before the examination.

DU 2020: How to check the official notice regarding the semester examination? 

  • Visit the official website http://www.du.ac.in/
  • Click on the link that says ‘Conduct of Examination for III/V/VII Sem - 2020-2021’ from the Notification Section on the homepage.
  • A pdf of the official notice will appear 
  • Students can download it for future reference.

DU 2020: Mode of Semester Examination

Students will be allowed to attend the Open book Test through blended learning which means that students can make a voluntary choice of either attempting the exam online or 

Offline.

The students who wish to write exams through offline mode must come to the institution to write the exam and the ones wishing to write it online can write the exams from their own residences.

 The students can choose any mode according to what they have selected on their examination form. The exams will take place in the same format as they were conducted for some courses in September 2020.

DU 2020: Details about Date sheets : 

Date sheets and the details for UG students appearing for the semester examinations will be posted on the official website in the first week of November on the official website from where students can download it. 

For the PG students, the details regarding the timetable will be notified by the respective departments, faculty, or the center. 

However, students must rely only on the time table and information received from the official website as only they will be considered authentic.
