The National Board of Examinations has released a new timetable for the second round of DNB counselling for 2020. The choices filled by candidates from 15 to 18 June will be considered invalid. Those who want to take part in the second round of DNB 2020 counselling will have to fill new choices according to the revised timetable.
The official notification released by the NBE says that this decision was made due to recent events that took place concerning NEET PG counselling.
The Directorate General of Health Sciences has extended the last date for reporting to the institute allotted via NEET PG counselling up to 30 June. Concerned that this may lead to seat blocking, the second round of DNB counselling has been rescheduled. The schedule for the remaining rounds will soon be declared.

Points to Remember
- Candidates willing to take part in Round 2 of counselling have to modify the choices they filled during the first round of DNB 2020 counselling.
- It is compulsory to lock and confirm the choices. Otherwise, the candidate will not be considered for the seat allotment procedure.
- Candidates who are given seats in the second round of counselling have to respond if they want to retain the seat. Otherwise, their admission will be cancelled.
