Doon University Dehradun has released the UG and PG Merit List 2026 on doonuniversity.ac.in. Admission counselling for shortlisted candidates will be held on July 21 and 22, 2026, followed by registration and fee payment till July 31.
Doon University (DU) has released the UG and PG Merit List 2026 on its official website, doonuniversity.ac.in. Shortlisted candidates must attend the admission counselling scheduled for July 21 and 22, 2026.
The counselling process will take place at the Doon University campus in Dehradun. The registration and fee payment window will remain open from July 20 to July 31, 2026. Classes for newly admitted UG and PG students will begin on August 3, 2026.
The university conducts its admission process through the Samarth admissions portal. The merit lists cover language, science, engineering, management, undergraduate, postgraduate, and integrated programmes for the 2026–27 academic session.

How Is the Doon University Merit List 2026 Prepared?
Doon University conducts the Doon University Entrance Test (DUET) for admission to its programmes. The 2026 merit list is prepared based on candidates’ scores in the entrance examination.
The university applies category-wise reservation according to the Uttarakhand state reservation norms. Only candidates who meet the programme-specific eligibility criteria are included in the merit list.

Documents Required for Doon University Counselling 2026
Shortlisted candidates must carry the original documents along with their self-attested photocopies to the counselling venue.
The required documents include:
- Class 10 mark sheet and certificate
- Class 12 mark sheet and certificate
- Graduation mark sheets and degree for PG applicants
- DUET 2026 admit card and scorecard
- Government-issued photo ID, such as Aadhaar card or passport
- Category certificate, if applicable
- Recent passport-size photographs
- Fee payment receipt after online registration
What Happens During the Counselling Session?
The Doon University counselling process includes document verification and seat confirmation. University officials verify candidates’ original certificates according to their merit list rank.
Selected candidates may receive a provisional seat allotment during the counselling session. They must then complete the online registration process and pay the applicable programme fee.
Candidates who fail to attend counselling on their allotted date may lose their admission opportunity or allotted seat.

How to Complete Registration and Fee Payment?
After counselling, selected candidates must confirm their admission through the Samarth admissions portal.
Candidates must log in using their registered credentials, complete the admission form, and upload the required documents. The programme fee can be paid online through net banking, UPI, debit card, or credit card.
The registration and fee payment facility will remain available until July 31, 2026.
Doon University uses the Samarth eGov platform for admissions. The platform is a Ministry of Education initiative for public institutions. It brings a common, secure workflow to counselling and fee payment.
