BHU PG Spot Round 2026 Open; Apply by July 14

The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has opened online registration for the Postgraduate (PG) Spot Round 2026 admissions on the official admission portal at admission.bhu.ac.in. The registration window opened on July 10, 2026 and will close on July 14, 2026, at 11:59 PM. First-time registrants must pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 500 to submit the application.

The Spot Round is meant to fill vacant seats left after the regular counselling rounds. It is open to candidates who did not register earlier, were waitlisted, missed the seat-fee deadline, or voluntarily withdrew from previous rounds. However, candidates who already hold a confirmed seat or have FREEZED their allotment in the regular rounds cannot participate.

As per the official notification, seat allotment will be based strictly on CUET (PG) 2026 merit. Programmes requiring Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI), practical, or performance-based tests are not included in the Spot Round.

Candidates holding a confirmed BHU PG seat or those who selected the FREEZE option during regular counselling are not eligible. Applicants should check the official vacancy list before submitting their application.

  • Pay the Rs 500 non-refundable processing fee through an online payment mode.
  • Submit the application and download the confirmation page.

Documents Required at Reporting
