A total of 67,781 admissions have been provided to various undergraduate courses under Delhi University Admission 2020.
Delhi University (DU) has released the 5th cut off list and 24,261 candidates have been provided admission to various courses so far. Today, November 11 is the last date for DU admission under DU fifth cutoff list.
As per the DU official statement, "A total of 67,781 students have taken admissions so far under the DU fifth cutoff list. Out of these, 24,261 admissions have been done under the DU 5th cutoff 2020 list which was announced on Saturday."

Out of the total 67,781 admissions, 24,261 admissions were provided under the DU 5th cutoff list released on November 7, 2020.
Delhi University offers 70,000 seats for various undergraduate programs offered in the university and affiliated colleges and admission has been provided for 67,000 seats so far.
After the release of the DU 5th cutoff list, almost all the seats have been filled in the university and colleges affiliated to Delhi University for different categories of students in the arts and science stream.

Commerce courses observed a major dip in admission after the release of the DU 5th cut off list.
Before the admission process started, the total number of seats for UG courses which was previously announced to be 66,263 was increased to 69,554 seats.
The increase in the number of seats for UG courses is because of the addition of 3,291 supernumerary seats.
DU Admission 2020: Total Applications Received
The official data released by the Delhi University stated that over 5.63 lakh candidates had registered for DU admission 2020 to undergraduate courses.
Over 1.83 lakh candidates had registered for postgraduate courses and over 34,000 for M. Phil and Ph.D. courses.

From the total applications received, the maximum number of applicants (1,42,526) was from Delhi followed by 66,657 applicants from Uttar Pradesh and 50,701 applicants from Haryana.
Apart from NCC and NSS certificates, DU had decided to hold extra-curricular activities (ECA) admissions due to the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic.
