- Original copies of all ECA certificates uploaded during registration.
- Original CUET 2026 scorecard.
- Valid photo identity proof issued by the government.
- All personal instruments, costumes, props and stationery needed for the category.
The university has clarified that borrowing or sharing of instruments, props or materials will not be allowed at the venue.
How Will the DU ECA Trials 2026 Be Assessed?
There is no prescribed syllabus for the trials. The assessment will be based solely on the candidate's proficiency in the chosen ECA category. Marks will be awarded by a subject-specific evaluation panel.
The decision of the assessment committee on evaluation and marks will be final and binding. The university has stated that no grievance requests will be entertained and no second opportunity will be given to any candidate.
DU ECA Trials Marking and Weightage
ECA quota admissions at DU combine the CUET UG 2026 score with the trial marks. As per DU's past pattern, CUET carries 75 percent weightage and the ECA trial carries 25 percent weightage in the final merit list. The exact 2026 weightage is subject to the university's final policy released with the ECA merit list.
What Is Prohibited During the Trials?
The university has laid down strict rules on conduct at the trial venue. Any violation may lead to cancellation of the candidature.
- Audio or video recording of the trials is not permitted.
- Unauthorised electronic devices, mobile internet and AI tools are barred inside the venue.
- For digital media, use of image-editing software, filters and AI-based enhancement tools is not allowed.
- No rescheduling will be granted after the notified date, including on medical grounds.
How to Check the DU ECA Trial Schedule?
The category-wise schedule and centres will be released on the DU admission portal. Candidates should follow these steps to check their trial details.
- Visit the official portal at admission.uod.ac.in.
- Log in with the CSAS 2026 registered credentials.
- Open the ECA admission dashboard on the home screen.
- Check the notified category, date, time and venue.
- Download and print the trial call letter for reporting.
The ECA quota reserves up to five percent of seats in each DU college. A strong trial score can secure admission even when CUET marks fall short of the general cutoff. This year's strict ban on AI tools marks DU's first formal check against AI-assisted entries in digital media.
