GIM Goa has opened applications for its PGDM programmes for the 2027-2029 batch. Candidates can register through the official portal at admissions.gim.ac.in. CAT 2026, XAT 2027 and eligible GMAT scores are accepted for selection.

The Goa Institute of Management (GIM) has opened admissions for its Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programmes. Applications are now live for the 2027-2029 batch. Candidates can register through the official portal at admissions.gim.ac.in. The institute accepts CAT 2026, XAT 2027 and valid GMAT scores for the selection process.
GIM follows a multi-round rolling application system. Early rounds carry lower application fees. Fees rise for later rounds as deadlines approach. Candidates are advised to apply in an early window to save on costs.
Programmes on Offer at GIM Goa
The institute offers four full-time PGDM streams for the 2027-2029 cycle. All four carry the same total programme fee. The streams differ in curriculum focus and elective structure.
| Programme | Focus Area |
|---|---|
| PGDM | General management |
| PGDM-HCM | Healthcare Management |
| PGDM-BDA | Big Data Analytics |
| PGDM-BIFS | Banking, Insurance and Financial Services |
A Hybrid PGDM and a Fellow Programme in Management are also offered. Their admission rules differ from the flagship PGDM streams. Candidates should read the programme brochure carefully before applying.
Who Is Eligible to Apply?
The eligibility rules are consistent across all four PGDM streams. Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognised university. A minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks is required. The cut-off is relaxed to 45 percent for SC and ST candidates.
Final-year students may also apply this cycle. They must complete all degree requirements by June 2027. Proof of degree completion will be verified at the joining stage.

GIM Goa Selection Weightage
Final selection is not based on the entrance score alone. GIM uses a five-factor scoring model. The weightage split is shown below.
| Parameter | Weightage |
|---|---|
| Entrance exam score | 40 percent |
| Face-to-face evaluation | 30 percent |
| Past academic record | 15 percent |
| Work experience | 10 percent |
| Profile and diversity | 5 percent |
Shortlisted candidates also sit for a Written Aptitude Test (WAT). The regular round interviews are held in February and March 2027. An Achiever's Round is offered to high-profile applicants. It can lead to a spot admission offer.
GIM Goa PGDM Fee Structure
The total academic fee for the two-year PGDM is Rs 21,45,000. This applies to all four full-time streams. The fee is paid in four scheduled installments across the programme.
How to Apply for GIM Goa PGDM 2027-2029?
The application is fully online. Candidates need a working email ID, mobile number and their entrance exam registration number. A recent passport-size photograph is also required at the upload stage.
The steps to apply are as follows. Register on the portal with basic details. Fill in academic, work and personal information. Upload the required documents. Pay the application fee for the current round. Submit the form before the round's cut-off time.
GIM is one of the few top B-schools that accepts CAT, XAT and GMAT together. Applying early can cut the application fee sharply. It also improves the chance of an Achiever's Round call.
