The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Courses (ACPUGMEC) Gujarat has revised the round 1 schedule for the Gujarat National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG counselling 2023.
New Delhi: The schedule for round 1 of Gujarat NEET UG counseling 2023 has been revised by the Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Courses (ACPUGMEC) Gujarat. Aspirants who are appearing for the round 1 counselling process can fill their choices by August 12, till 3 pm through the official website medadmgujarat.org.
NEET 2023 Exam was conducted on May 7, 2023. NEET Result 2023 is released by the NTA on June 13, 2023. As per the recent announcement, the committee has informed that those aspirants who filled the choice for admission of government seats, management seats and NRI seats of medical and dental UG programmes in government, grant-in-aid, and self-financed colleges for the academic year 2023-24 has been cancelled. All the registered aspirants have to re-enter and lock choices for Gujarat state MBBS counselling 2023 round 1 again.
ACPUGMEC will release the filled choices by the candidates on August 12, 2023. The seat allotment will be published after each round of Gujarat NEET UG Counselling 2023. Seat allotment list will be prepared according to the choices filled by candidates, state merit rank, seat matrix, and other criteria set by the authority.
An official statement from the ACPUGMEC read, “ All the students are hereby informed that the process of Revised First Round Choice Filling for MBBS and BDS courses has been started by the Admission Committee.”
It also added “All the choices which were previously filled by all the students have been cancelled. So, all the students will have to compulsorily fill the choice again for the revised first round admission programme.’’

Gujarat NEET UG Counselling 2023 Round 1 Choice-filling: How to fill choices
Given below are the steps to fill choices for the counselling process:
- Aspirants need to visit the official website medadmgujarat.org.
- Tap on the ‘Medical, dental, ayurvedic & homeopathy’ button
- Aspirants need to login using their registration ID and password.
- Click on the ‘Choice details’ tab.
- Tap on the available choices
- Click on the ‘fill choice’ option
- Refine options by applying filters for branch, type of institute, and seat category
- Aspirants need to add choices for Gujarat MBBS/BDS 2023 counselling.
- Rearrange choices based on preference
- Tap on the ‘save choice’ option.
- Save and exit
- Take a print out of the filled choices for future reference
