Institute of Company Secretaries of India has launched the ICSI Student Education Trust to encourage and motivate students from economically weaker sections who are academically bright to help them pursue the Company Secretary Course.
According to the details provided, students starting the CS Course after qualifying for the CS Executive Entry Test (CSEET) and also complying with the relevant eligibility criteria will be able to apply for the financial assistance provided under the scheme.
Two Different Criteria for Students to Apply
An official notification of this was issued in the ICSI official twitter handle. According to the details provided, there are two different criteria for students applying for financial assistance under the scheme.
As per the scheme, financial assistance will be provided to economically backward students and academically bright students. The assistance provided to eligible students in accordance with the guidelines will be refunded the full amount of the registration fee paid to them for the entrance test after they have passed the entrance exam.

Refunds to be Given to Students
Refunds will also be paid for the Education Fee, the Exemption Fee and the e-learning fee, along with other fees paid by students for registration in the Executive Program if they have been admitted to the Executive Program within the time provided for the first availability.
Students will also be refunded the examination fee paid by students for the Executive Program if they have passed the exams in the first attempt at the first available opportunity with respect to the date of registration in the Executive Programme.
