IGNOU Invites Applications for UGC Approved Refresher Program 2023; Apply Online till July 20

New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Open University, IGNOU has introduced a UGC-approved refresher Program on Design, Development and Delivery of MOOCs through the online mode. The online program will be held between July 24, and August 4, 2023. 

As per the notification released by IGNOU, the UGC refresher program on the Design, Development and Delivery of MOOCs will be held online and will be equivalent to UGC-HRDC. The program certificate will be considered for API and CAS. 

Interested candidates can apply online for the refresher program till July 20, 2023. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered for IGNOU Admissions 2023. Check the eligibility criteria, direct link and steps to apply for admission in this article below.

IGNOU Approved Refresher Program 2023: Learning Outcomes 

Upon completion of the program, the participants will possess the following abilities:

• Effectively locate, retrieve, adapt, and create Open Educational Resources (OER) for their own Program/course.
• Successfully complete the COL course titled 'Learn OER'.
• Gain awareness of the Digital Initiatives implemented by the Government of India in the field of Higher Education.
• Analyse the Instructional Design for MOOC Development and understand the process of planning, designing, and implementing online courses that align with the requirements of SWAYAM MOOC.
• Develop plans for E-Content Creation, including scriptwriting and video recording, using Generic Video Recording and Screen Capturing Tools. 
• Utilise Moodle-MOOC as a supplementary tool for face-to-face teaching and as a platform for delivering fully online or distance learning courses, while also exploring ways to enhance their own courses using the Moodle-MOOC platform.
• Establish an active network for communication and collaboration with students and effectively design and manage learning assessments using the Moodle MOOC Platform.

IGNOU Approved Refresher Program 2023: How to Apply? 

Prospective applicants can complete the online application process by clicking on the provided form, filling it out accurately, and submitting the application fee of INR 5000 through the online payment mode. The bank account details are outlined below for reference:

Upon registering for the refresher program on Design, Development and Delivery of MOOCs, candidates will receive a confirmation email sent to the email address they have provided during the registration process.
