IIIT Manipur has placed 66 students from the 2026 batch so far. The highest package stands at Rs 40 LPA secured by a CSE student. The placement drive remains ongoing with the overall placement rate at 35.29 percent across all branches.
The Indian Institute of Information Technology Manipur (IIIT Manipur) has updated its Training and Placement (T&P) status for the 2026 graduating batch on its official website at iiitmanipur.ac.in. The placement drive is currently ongoing. So far, 66 students have secured offers across branches.
The highest package recorded in the 2026 drive stands at Rs 40 LPA. This offer was bagged by a student from the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) branch. The lowest package recorded so far is Rs 6 LPA. A total of 187 eligible students from the batch are participating in the placement process.

The official placement status page lists branch wise data updated till May 27, 2026. The overall placement rate so far is 35.29 percent. Of the total batch, 14 students are ineligible for placements due to a CPI below 6.5. Another 27 students have opted for higher studies through GATE or GRE.

The CSE branch leads the placement chart with 34 offers. The ECE branch follows with 18 offers and a top package of Rs 13 LPA. The newer ECE (VLSI) stream has logged two offers so far in its placement cycle.

The current placement rate marks a notable shift from the recent past. The 2024 batch had recorded a placement percentage of 76.2 percent. The 2022 batch had achieved a complete 100 percent placement rate at the institute.
