Ans. Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET) was deemed to be a university approved by AICTE and MHRD. It is an autonomous institute. It is ranked 137 for BTech by NIRF 2020. IIIT Manipur was established under the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) approved by the Govt. of India. They have a faculty strength of 13 members and 107 student strength. Each department has 110 seats. Ans. NIT Meghalaya ranks 61st for BTech by NIRF 2020. 104 students were placed in the 2018-2019 placement program conducted by the institute. It is accredited by AICTE. IIIT Manipur is an autonomous university established under MHRD. It has a faculty strength of 13 members and a student population of 107. NIT Manipur ranks 158th for BTech by NIRF 2020. It is recognized by UGC and AICTE. It has a 300+ acres campus area. It has a faculty strength of 70 members most of them being highly qualified and PhD holders. Admission Details - Applicants should have at least 75% in their 10+2 qualifying exams. For MTech applicants 60% in BTech or BE is required. NIT Meghalaya conducts a written examination and interview for postgraduate applicants. Qualifying for JoSAA counselling process will be based on the applicants merit. Ans. After IITs and NITs, students will always prefer IIITs as they offer neck to neck competition to other institutes. IIIT Dharwad being recently established offers stiff competition to other IIITs. All three colleges claim to have placed more than 70% of its students. Facilities like well-ventilated hostel rooms, cafeteria, digital library, and scholarships to different categories. Admission: For admission into IIIT colleges, students need to appear for the JEE(Joint Entrance Exam) mains exams and get a good rank for the same. Admission is purely merit-based. IIIT Manipur has 50 seats for both ECE and CSE branches. IIIT Dharwad has 75 seats in the ECE branch. IIIT Kottayam has 192 seats in the CSE branch and 48 seats in the ECE branch. The required cutoff for the institutes is as follows.
