IIM Calcutta and TimesPro have launched the 21st batch of its flagship Senior Management Program with the aim to equip executives with innovative and new-age skills.

New Delhi: As per the latest updates, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta has joined hands with TimesPro and launched the 21st batch of its flagship Senior Management Programme (SMP) for the academic session 2023-24. 

As per IIM Calcutta, the senior management program is designed to equip senior management executives with new-age skills required to upgrade their functional competencies. The management program will prepare participants for various strategic leadership roles.

The IIM Calcutta, Times Program Senior Management Program 2023 will commence a duration of 12 months and will teach senior executives about the evolving ecosystem and skills required to be in sync with the requirements of Industry 4.0.

Throughout the course, candidates will learn about government regulations, macroeconomics, legal, and the usage of analytics in decision-making and upgrade their cross-functional and leadership skill sets through the SMP's modern business and strategic practices.

In addition to this, they will participate in interactive and include case studies, role-plays, simulations, games, and lectures as well as in face-to-face sessions on - Being a CEO, Conflict & Negotiation, Business Analytics, Global Political Economy, etc as a part of the program.

The course curriculum is designed to make senior management professionals future-ready to become business leaders. Earlier, the batch capacity for SMP was 180 students in 2021, which further increased to 300 students in 2022 due to the demand for skilled professionals.
