IIM Lucknow Launches BS in AI and Business Analytics 2026 at iiml.ac.in; Check Last Date to Apply

Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) has launched a new undergraduate programme. The course is a four year BS in Artificial Intelligence and Business Analytics. Applications are now open on the official website at iiml.ac.in.

This is the first Bachelor of Science (BS) offering from IIM Lucknow. The programme is fully residential and runs across eight semesters. Admission is based on a valid JEE Advanced 2026 rank.

The application window opened on June 4 2026. Candidates must submit their forms by July 3 2026 at 23:59 IST. The first merit list will be released on July 10 2026.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Applicants must be Indian citizens for the BS programme. They must have passed Class 12 in 2025 or 2026. The Class 12 stream must include Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

A valid JEE Advanced 2026 qualification is mandatory. The maximum age limit is 21 years as on July 31 2026. Merit based scholarships are offered on JEE Advanced performance.

Reservations follow central government policy. The breakup is 15 percent for SC, 7.5 percent for ST, and 27 percent for non-creamy OBC. EWS candidates get 10 percent of the seats. PwD candidates get a 5 percent horizontal reservation.

Fee Structure

The annual tuition fee is Rs 5,00,000 for the BS programme. This is charged each year of the four year course. The total programme fee adds up to Rs 20,00,000 across all four years.

IIM Lucknow offers merit based fee waivers and scholarships. These are awarded on the basis of JEE Advanced ranks. Final scholarship terms are notified through the admission office.

Curriculum Structure

The programme is built across eight semesters of study. Each course runs for 45 hours of teaching. Sessions combine lectures, tutorials, and laboratory work.

Year 1 covers mathematics, programming, data structures, and AI basics. Year 2 builds depth in machine learning, deep learning, and big data. Year 3 introduces tracks such as computer vision, NLP, and cloud computing. Year 4 covers electives and an 18 credit capstone project.
