IIM Lucknow PGPWE 2027 Phase 2 Admissions Open; Check Last Date to Apply

The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) has opened Phase 2 admissions for its Postgraduate Programme in Management for Working Executives (PGPWE) 2027 batch. Interested candidates can apply online at iiml.ac.in. The application window closes on December 31, 2026 at 5:00 PM IST.

The PGPWE is a two-year weekend MBA programme for working professionals. Classes are held on alternate weekends at the IIM Lucknow NOIDA campus. The 2027 batch will commence in the first week of April 2027.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Candidates need a bachelor's degree with at least 50 percent marks or equivalent CGPA. They must also have a minimum of three years of full-time post-qualification work experience. The experience is counted as of March 31, 2027.

Applicants need a valid score in one of these exams: GMAT, GRE, CAT 2024 or 2025, GATE 2025 or 2026, or the PGPWE Entrance Exam. Only test-centre-based GMAT and GRE scores are accepted. Online GMAT or GRE scores are not valid. There is no upper age limit for applicants.

IIM Lucknow PGPWE 2027 Fee Structure

The total programme fee is Rs 11,00,000 plus applicable taxes. This excludes a refundable caution deposit of Rs 10,000 and an alumni membership fee of Rs 5,000. The mandatory international immersion module costs approximately Rs 4.50 lakh extra.

The application fee is Rs 1,000 and is non-refundable. A separate processing fee of Rs 7,000 applies if an applicant withdraws after the specified deadline.

Admission is based on a composite score with four components. Each component carries a defined weight in the final decision.

• Test score: 30 percent
• Academic and professional profile: 30 percent
• Personal Interview: 30 percent
• Writing Ability Test: 10 percent

3. Register using a valid email ID and mobile number.
4. Fill in academic, professional, and test score details.
5. Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
6. Pay the Rs 1,000 application fee through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
7. Submit the form and save the confirmation page for future reference.

Programme Structure at a Glance

The PGPWE spans two years and awards an MBA degree on completion. The curriculum carries 28 credits across core courses, electives, dissertation, and the international module. Classes run on alternate weekends from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon.

The programme is non-residential and runs at the IIM Lucknow NOIDA campus in Sector 62. On-request accommodation at the 20-acre campus is subject to availability.
