The Alumination 2023, the flagship event was successfully hosted by the IIT Bombay's Student Alumni Relations Cell. The first day recorded valuable finance and stock market insights gained during a visit to the National Stock Exchange.

New Delhi: The flagship event, Alumination 2023: A Resplendent Resurgence, was organized by the Student Alumni Relations Cell of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay.
The first day of the event at IIT Bombay featured a visit to the National Stock Exchange (NSE), offering valuable insights into finance and stock markets. The next day marked the official commencement of the event, featuring a variety of workshops across different fields, from Consultancy to Analytics, providing a glimpse into the non-core aspects of the professional world.
The accomplished alumni, well-versed in their respective fields, actively participated in the event, sharing their valuable experiences with students from IIT Bombay. In addition, mock interviews and group discussions were conducted, with a specific focus on equipping final-year students for the imminent placement season.
Moreover, IIT Bombay organized "Coming Full Circle" featuring Deepak Satwalekar and Rajeev Pandia, alumni from the 1971 batch, who returned to their alma mater after 52 years. They conducted a dynamic session addressing a spectrum of questions, from career guidance to reflecting on their experiences at the institute.
Following this, the event featured "Trailblazers," an interview with Sneh Vaswani, CEO and co-founder of Miko.ai, and Ahana Gautam, CEO and co-founder of Open Secret. They shared insights from their entrepreneurial journey, inspiring students to venture into the world of startups and offering guidance for their own entrepreneurial paths.
The day concluded with "Beyond The Horizon," a session that brought together over 1400 students, alumni, and staff. Cultural performances by students set the tone, followed by a fireside chat with Vipul Goyal.
On Day 2, the event kicked off with "Alumni Odyssey," featuring Ravindra Gupta and Suhas Kajbaje, tailored for postgraduate students. The session addressed challenges faced by PG students and offered career guidance. In "Start it Up," Akshay Saxena and Anupam Sidhant shared their insights on entrepreneurship, providing valuable guidance for students embarking on their entrepreneurial journeys.
Furthermore, the IIT Bombay students had the opportunity to engage with other industry experts, including Sourabh Chanderiya (Jodi-Anoorabh), Ashwin Srivastava, Ashima Mittal, and Sameer Saxena, who shared insights into their experiences and journeys since graduation.
