IIT Delhi Introduces an Online Certificate Program in Battery Technology for Electric Vehicles

New Delhi: The Continuing Education Programme (CEP) of IIT Delhi has introduced an online certificate course for students titled "Battery Technology for Electric Vehicle (BatTechEV)." Aspiring participants can apply till January 15, 2024.

The program promises an extensive exploration of electrochemical energy storage devices, encompassing aspects from individual cells to pack-level configurations. Its highlights extend to live online interactive sessions conducted by esteemed IIT Delhi faculty, ensuring a dynamic learning experience.

The curriculum, carefully crafted by IIT Delhi faculty, stays at the forefront of technological advancements. Engaging in group projects, assignments, and peer-to-peer learning further enriches the educational journey.

The curriculum includes insights into duty cycles, storage sizing based on requirements, battery testing methodologies, failure mechanisms, and fundamental knowledge of power electronics for seamless device integration with drivetrains.

IIT Delhi BatTechEV 2023 Dates, Fee

Enrollment in the program involves a fee structure of INR 60,000 plus 18% GST, with the added advantage of an Early Bird Enrollment option available at INR 50,000 plus 18% GST. This initiative aims to address the evolving demands of Industry 4.0 by nurturing participants' skills and knowledge essential in the e-mobility landscape.

Upon successful completion, participants maintaining a minimum of 50% attendance in lectures and securing an aggregate of 50% in evaluation components will be awarded a participation e-certificate, validating their dedication and grasp of the subject matter.
